He does'nt offer VISAs as I think someone mentioned.
What he does is find companies that suit your c.v, then places people as appropriate, then THOSE companies pay for your Visa. Some companies will even pay your flights.
But the 300 Euro finders fee to him they are not prepared to pay?

What happens if the companies don't meet the requirements to be able to sponsor or Your husband/You don't meet the requirements to be sponsored?

Do you get your €300 back?

Bit naive to think that someone can put in a good word with some company at the other side of the world and suddenly the whole family moving there, there is criteria to met to be sponsored and its not just a case of having a job.

New to boards myself. But just kind of felt compelled to post regarding Niall Minogue.

We, myself and my husband visited him to-day after having long drawn out converstions on the phone, we finally made the trip to Kilkenny.

Yes he does have an office there, its just off the hotel. He's got his maps on the walls, and a list of people on a little board with details on it that I'm sure only he understands.

No one and believe me NO ONE asks as many questions as I do/did.
He answered all of them. He shoots from the hip quite definately and definately speaks his mind.

Anyways long and the short of it is, he's ok
He mentioned something had been written about him, and was clearly quite peeved by it. He's only just starting out, but he's getting people jobs in Australia, he definately is, because I demanded I speak to someone he had placed. He verified everything, and NO he definately was'nt fluffing.

Long and the short of it, hes a pretty sound guy who says what he thinks.Sure he can talk, no doubt about it, but he's not out to scam anyone, well we did'nt think so, thats why we handed over €300

Will keep you posted and let you know how it goes.

Hope it all works out well for ye.
We've decided to go the agent route, we found a fella in England who was recommended by a friend in Perth, going to cost a bit, but shur what does'nt?
We've got a bit of time on our hands, but we've got a lot of paperwork to fill out. And we've got to wait until June until the 2 girls finish school anyway.
We mite even meet ye out there!

    Hi guys

Thought I would clarify a few things regards Niall Minogue I myself am going through the process of getting a 457 visa through his company Quality Irish Personnel. I found him to be professional and straight up and to the point . He tells you what you don't want to hear as in it will take 3/4 months to get visa through ( I just want to go now) I am going to move to Geraldton 400km from Perth got a job as a diesel fitter. I met him in his office in Kilkenny at the pembroke hotel he discussed my options and was confident he would have me sorted in a month with a job offer it transpired that I got a job offer following week . I know it sounds to good to be true but this what happened. The MD of the oz company called me liked my cv which Niall Minogue prepared and sent me a contract the following day.3 other Irish boys have got positions in the same company since through quality Irish personnel which is great as I can get a house with them hopefully. I hope to be out there for June with my partner. So that's my experience of Mr Minogue he reckons he secured 26 guys jobs in oz in January which is pretty good going saw his ad on farmers journal as well this week proves he does have other options than done deal to advertise.

Does anyone have a link for a website in oz something like daft

Quality Irish personnel isnt listed with the CRO, why not? Its interesting that your very first post on boards.ie is promoting a company that doesnt seem to legally exist, care to comment?

Have you ever tried to apply for a diesel fitter position through the work recruitment agencies?

    http://www.irishjobs.ie/Diesel-Mechanic-Jobs-in-Australia

Because anyone can open a virtual office

    http://www.elevenpatrickstreet.com/virtual-office/

and it still does not explain the fact that he is not registered with CRO or MARA.

And yes if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Good Luck to you(hopefully I'm wrong)

It is gratifying to see so many people sign up specifically to say nice things about this ' company ' that will get them the fresh start they seek .

I cannot emphasise enough the need for extreme caution in dealing with anyone claiming to offer fee-based visa assistance - its a scoundrels charter.

The fact that all the people praising these operations are first time posters is something that folks here must make up their own minds on.

Hi my name is Niall Minogue and I feel compelled to write this after reading all the threads my company is 100% legit and yes we are registered with the CRO as Quality Irish Personnel and a another company Quality Job Solutions which specialise in preparing cvs and mentoring people for interviews etc. QIP are trading since Janurary 3rd and we have secured positions for 23 personnel in the following jobs diesel mechanics , welders, panel beaters , tractor mechanics , car technicians , hydraulic technicians and excavator drivers. And numbers can be provided for any of these people to verify my service which I think is very good in that we do get results. The lady I met on Saturday with her husband rang a guy who verified my service and thus gave her the peace of mind to trek up from cork to meet me and yes I will get her partner a job as a diesel mechanic on a 457 visa. My professionalism has been called into question on a previous thread which I feel is harsh I get on average 50 calls per day some and maybe I can be blunt and to the point but I do get results. I am currently finalising an agreement with a mining company on Australia where Quality Irish Personnel wiill be there sole recruiter for western Europe this will be formally announced at a conference in Kilkenny at the end of the month where we will have representatives from the company fly into Ireland to have a meet and greet open night. I hope this clarifies a few things and if people want to call me please do. Also our website is currently being designed and hopefully be active in the next 2 weeks. One final thing it seems that what I am trying to achieve with this business has been mirrored by another company who if am led to believe has called problems with other individuals please don't tarnish my name and my business because of this. Also I don't supply visa I have recommended partners that I would put you in touch with. Thanks Niall MInogue

Niall - searching for your business throws no results up for Quality Irish Personnel:

    http://www.cro.ie/search/CompanySearch.aspx
Your Company and Business Name search for "Quality Irish Personnel" yielded no result.

    Can you advise on this?

As for tarnishing your name, I think it's understandable that people here are dubious about new posters that sign up seemingly just to sing your praises, particularly if money is being handed over in advance. If you prove people wrong then I'm sure they'll be quite satisfied.

    Information for Consumers

In Australia, migration agents must be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (Office of the MARA) in order to provide immigration assistance.
See: What is the Office of the MARA?

A registered migration agent (RMA) can advise on visa requirements, help an applicant lodge a visa application and deal with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship on an applicant’s behalf, usually for a fee. More information is available about what a registered migration agent can do and how to choose one is available on this website.
    See:
What is a registered migration agent and do I need to use one?
How to choose a migration agent

If an applicant chooses to seek migration advice it is important that a registered migration agent is used. It is illegal in Australia to give advice about migration to Australia without being registered with the Office of the MARA. There are heavy penalties for giving immigration assistance without being registered.

The video Using a registered migration agent* contains important information on how to find a registered migration agent and what to expect from them.

Unregistered persons may try to take advantage of your situation and provide incorrect information and false hopes, such as, guaranteeing you a visa. For more information about migration fraud, reporting unregistered practice and how you can protect yourself from migration fraud, visit the Department of Immigration and Citizenship website.
    See: Migration fraud and scams

Note: An applicant does not have to use a migration agent to lodge a visa application with the Department of Immigration and Citizenship, and a migration agent cannot influence the outcome of the application.

    List of registered migration agents

You can find a registered migration agent on our website by searching the Register of Agents. If you have any difficulty accessing the information you require, please contact the Office of the MARA on 1300 226 272 if in Australia or on +61 2 9078 3552 if calling from outside of Australia.
    See:
Search for a Registered Migration Agent
    List of lapsed migration agents
List of current Applicants for Registration

    Charges

There are no set fees for the services offered by registered migration agents, however a list of average fee ranges is available.
See: What does it cost to use an Agent?

    Complaints

If you have had a problem with a registered migration agent (RMA) and you are unable to resolve this with them, you can lodge a complaint.
See: Making a complaint about a RMA

    Sanction decisions

Sanctions previously decided in relation to registered migration agents are also published on our website.

Well here are some questions and facts you should ask yourself

Why would you pay anyone of donedeal.ie to find you a job?

Part of the stipulation of an Australia employer sponsoring an foreign worker is that the postion has to be advertised and if no local cannot be found to do that job then the employer can then then sponsor an overseas worker, the same job has to advertised for a certain period anyway so why do you have to pay a middle man to find you a job that can be found yourself?

FACT: Actually the reports of job shortages in Australia is well over hyped by the Irish media, in fact over the last few years the Australian government has brought in measures to reduce skilled migration. The changes coming in July that were advertised on that ad (highlighted as get in quick before the changes) is one of those measures, it was found that the supply of migrants was outstripping demand. In 2009 it was 133500 skilled migrants per year, last year it was 113725. The Australian government is actually reducing the number of migrants.

If there was as big a demand for foreign workers then why would these employers not be paying agents to find workers, not the other way round?

FACT: The 457 visa is nothing more than a work permit, lose your job and you are on a plane home. You are tied to that employer and they know it, some people have been well and truly screwed by unscrupulous employers who have taken advantage of peoples who have their heart set on staying in Australia. The government is trying to crack down on this sort of behaviour but people are afraid to report it because they know that they rely on that job to keep them there.

I think with all the BS reports from the Irish media about emigration to Australia is nothing more than a feeding frenzy for scoundrels who are willing to take money from vulnerable people in difficult times.

FACT: Having a job lined up in Australia is no guarantee to actually going there, employers have to meet certain criteria in order to be able to sponsor this involves a lot of paperwork about the business. When it come to the crunch some employers don't like Government agencies snooping around their business too much because they might not have all the figures above the table at that stage they panic and pull the plug.

If you pay £375 for someone to find you a job and the employer (or you) don't meet Dept of Immigration criteria do you get your money back? Really these 'consultants' can claim they have done their bit but you are still stuck in Ireland and 375 quid lighter.

FACT: Moving to Australia not as easy as you think. last year only 3700 Irish people migrated to Australia, over previous years it was around 2500-3000 per year, Irish media has everyone convinced its tens of thousands when in fact its about 25000 working holiday visa's.

That's right folks the word holiday has been scubbed from the Irish dictionary and been replaced by emigrated, that's how sad it is.

My advice is be careful when paying people money for a service that is really out of their hands, there are no short cuts to this stuff if you read the Dept. of Immigration website there are plenty of warnings about people being scammed by easy offers of Visa's & employment.

    Its simple

Hi i am a hgv mechanic and i have joined boards to voice my own experience with Niall Minogue and his company Quality Irish Personnel , I am an other lad who Niall has also got a job for , which i will be starting soon in Geraldton west Australia with 2 other lads who he also got positions for in the same company , i first called Niall in January as i was looking at going back to Australia to work , i lived there before for a number of years so i have a good knowledge of how things work.As like anyone else i too was suspicious as i know there is a lot of scams out there.
after speaking with Niall on the phone and telling him what sort of work i was looking for and what my qualifications were , he arranged a meeting with me at his office in kilkenny and asked me to bring my cv . i met him at his office for an interview which lasted about 1 hour and i found him very easy to talk with and he was down to earth and spoke his mind , he talked to me about different positions he had available around Australia which he showed me on large map that he has in his office. i could tell that this was not a scam from the knowledge and information he had about different companies and areas in Australia.
after about 2 days he called to tell me that a company in west Australia looked at my cv and he told me what the employer was looking for and the type of work that was involved and he gave me there website address, so i done some research of the company and i was happy to have Niall arrange an interview for me with them.
after the interview i was very happy with the company and what we spoke about during it .then about a day latter Niall called me and told me that the company would like to take me on so i agreed.that night the manager of the company emailed me my job offer to read over and sign and email it back to them, after that the manager called me to start arranging my 457 sponsorship visa so he emailed me the necessary forms for my wife and i to fill in and details of what documents he required so we done that and posted it back to them ,the company is paying for the 457 visa for my wife and i .The manager called me about 2 weeks ago to tell me that he got the forms and that they handed them into emigration so i am just waiting for them to be processed now .
My advice to anyone who is unsure of Niall and his company Quality Irish Personnel would be to arrange a meeting and talk to him face to face that way you can be sure you are satisfied before you avail of his services

it is amazing how all these new posters who have signed up to talk so nicely about this guy and the work he does all have the same punctuation, use the same type of language and even express the exact same sentiments about the guy.

If I wasn't the trusting type I would be convinced it is the guy himself creating loads of accounts to praise himself.

fortunatly I am not that cynical and I will take you all at your word and express my delight that there is a guy (who by the way speaks his mind ;)) in kilkenny helping out so many desperate people to start a new life in Oz for only a couple of hundred quid.

I wonder if there is anyway we have have this guy invited to the Aras to meet the president and receive some sort of official award for his sterling work?

I am a mechanic from clonmel co tipperary , i only came on here to tell people my one experience of the man, i hate to see some one shoot in the back for noting and who has recently started out in business too .
i speak highly of the man because he has done noting wrong and
i understand there is some other lad on done deal scamming people , so everyone should be careful and not hand over any money to anyone til they 100% sure that it is a legit business with a premises in Ireland , you have visited there office , met with them in person , and are satisfied of the service they offer .

+1 to this. I responded to his post and he hasn't bothered getting back to me. If he is genuine then he should sign back on and address peoples' concerns.

And learn the importance of basic spelling, grammar and syntax, especially in a professional capacity.
