How do you know it's taxed till June?

Holding out for €1,000 no offers is a bit optimistic, but that said this is a very well made car. My father owned one from new for 13 years (he previously bought a new car every 4 years mostly)

carsireland database. They usually have it spot on :)

They seem a bit off regarding NCT expiry dates.

Era give him the benefit of the doubt till you see some history..Not every car with crazy low mileage is "dodgy"

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,054 ✭✭✭IK09

never give anyone the benefit of the doubt when buying a used car. Thats how people end up with fúck ups and blame the "dodgy dealer".

Get full disclosure always, if it seems off, it probably is off

    Nice looking car.
Estate, leather, tax, test till march '14.
Do a bit of haggling on the asking of €1650.

What a waste. A car like that doing 600 miles a year. Is this for real?

I'd guess it was parked up regularly or for a long time.

I would be worried about it. It's been on DD since about December.

EDIT: it's only 500 now, it was 1000

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,728 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

    It's for nothing now.
Much nicer one on DTD but for €1900, you'll get what you pay for there.

I'm guessing the mentality of most looking at that car would be 2 litre petrol on a 15 year old car is a nono.... Pity

Twould be an excellent sleeper, especially with an SR20DET installed!

The only thing I see there is:

    1995 Audi 80
    Body Type Saloon
    Fuel Type Petrol
    Colour Grey
    Transmission Unknown

And that it is a UK import

Did you pay / use a voucher to see more info?

Are you looking at it as a dealer? I wouldn't know where to get a voucher....

This is where I see that info :)

BMW 318ci with leather, no NCT but would be bought & put through NCT for well below bangernomics money. http://cars.donedeal.ie/for-sale/cars/4759801

I do love those Laguna Estates.

He'd want to be knocking €500 off he price to get a sale though. They're a dime a dozen at this stage, especially the petrols.

    No mention of tax.
    nct until jan 2014.
    Price? 600 euro.
Oh, and it's not wrapped.. :D

Looks good for the money being asked, you wouldn't put a new water pump in it, lash it through the NCT though no? You could ask significantly more money by doing so. I understand if it's a quick sale though, I did read the ad!

i had a bmw 316 and the tyres were very expensive , he says four tires and a water pump , plus an nct and maybe tax . guts of 1000-1500 perhaps ? on that it seems expensive. but its nice !
