    Absolutely brilliant cars.

They're as safe as many others, I doubt you'd put yourself in much danger in one anyway.
Not really. Even back then It's nearest competitor the toyota starlet (though still very tinny) was a good bit more solid than a micra and it had much better road holding also. The micra was not only built light but it felt very light to drive too. Going around roundabouts was scary in them:p

Been in others like the 106, (old) Panda and a Saxo that didn't feel any safer TBH. Went around many roundabouts in my sisters old one and never felt scared either.

Was this not on here recently? What are people's opinions? I'm wondering if this would be a decent upgrade for the missus from her '99 K11. Anything to look out for with these? Advert says it has FSH which is always reassuring.

Comes from a dealer: Tallaght Superbikes and Autos. Any idea what they are like?

Just be prepared to get on first name terms with the staff in your local filling stations. They're notoriously thirsty I'm led to believe.

They're both 4 stud wheels whereas the Skoda is 5 stud. I think they're painted versions ofmk1leon wheels.

I've figured it! Painted Polo 9n wheels :)

4 stud also. EDIT: I read you wrong. I read it as 6n:o The 9n was 5 stud but I can't recall if they came with similar hubcaps as mentioned below
EDIT #2: Looking at this pic I think it's the same wheel as the 9n so you'd be right

Peasant got it spot on above. It's the 14" wheels off of an Ibiza not the Leon like I said. They have a series of rectangular holes which are there because the hubcap clips into them. I must've fitted hundreds of these whilst service my apprenticeship with SEAT and doing pre-delivery inspections.

    Mmm Swedish fast estate...

    - Fresh NCT

    - 250bhp

    - Lowish tax rate.

    - Seems to have plenty of work done recently as per ad

Knock a few hundred off the asking and it could be very nice indeed

That car has been towing big caravans it seems, so the clutch is something to consider.

Pity my timing is off on this one, I'd be very interested in having one of these as a family car. How much are they worth though?

Seems good. 1.6 Avensis. Years NCT and 5 months tax at 680? Not too bad.

^^ Two very good finds barura. The tax and nct left on them makes for very cheap motoring indeed.

Couldn't even be arsed taking out the cushion off the driver seat (or even opening the door) for the pic!

What's up with the drivers seat. It looks melted or something hence the cushion

Leather seats... "I know I'll sit on a polyster cushion instead of raising the seat for fear of hurting my delicate touchee":rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Unless it's brown underneath :pac:
