That Renault is class. I wonder if all the Sellotape behind the drivers seat is a bad sign though...

Jan 2013 isn't far enough away to make that worth a punt IMO

That really gets on my nerves when it appears that somebody is blatantly trying to hide it's miles and not km's. Big difference between the two.

I simply could not pay 1850 for it...

I accidentally brought a fella down from Meath one day. It used to be a very easy mistake the make on Carzone. I advertised it as 144,000 kms rather than miles...

Bit of a difference! It can be a very honest mistake, but something like the above on a 05 Irish car there's the possibility that the buyer might never notice it!

He went to the bother of typing it in the description ;)

Of course, there are times when it's a genuine mistake that the seller accepts when a buyer views the car, but that guy has it twice in his ad that it's 135k km and not miles...

You're right there I think, 'tis a bit rich at that price.

    Although the spec seems good.

I'd love to have one of them in a years to come, maybe twenty years when its a real classic, and I'm an ould fella.

Is there the same "luxobarge" value in the old Mercedes S classes compared to the 7 series's? There seems to be feck all of them about.

The S Class were in demand for export

^^^ Thanks for that lads. I have seen a few 7 series's on the roads but I can't recall ever seeing a late nineties s class. Theyre a nice looking motor imo.

Must have a really heavy right foot then. I know someone who has a 1.6 Laguna and he gets between 6-8l/100km. 6l/100km on motorway and 8l/100km around town.
