    The latest TAFs for the island of Ireland give NO snow at all over the next 24 hours, just sleet showers at Knock and Belfast Aldergrove.

    Getting windier here - I can hear it outside; gusting to 35kph (@ 3m) and 10 min average to 12 kph.

    Still starry though.

    Started out as sleet here in Meath but turned to heavy snow and the grass and certain other surfaces now have a thin white covering.

    It also creates a slight fohn effect I think - otherwise how come temperature here is sticking doggedly at 3.8C (dp 0.6)

    Yay what started as sleet has now turned to large flakes,must be very very marginal. Im impressed though as im 75m alt
