    In these times, what is middle class? Someone from the Southside, broke, someone from the Northside, hols, new cars? Busy carpenter versus out of work insurance broker? This recession is a great equlaiser :D

    Class is a state of mind.

    I regard myself as working class because my family are but im studying at trinity , read Joyce and Hemingway and do other perceived middle class activities.

    I would be willing to bet that a lot on here, that post, would like to consider themselves middleclass, not that they would ever admit
