If I discount the job, which I hate, but I know I should be happy to have, life is pretty enjoyable.

I have a hubbie I adore, a great family, two doggies who are always happy to see me and fantastic friends.

Yes there are some bad things but overall I wake up happy :D

Will be better once I leave for a better country

I probably enjoy almost every minute of it. Life is too short and too precious to waste just running between a shít job and an uncomfortable bed - if you're not having fun then you have to make changes.

My life is enjoyable today, I am off work till the 29th, I have done all the xmas stuff and I am going out tonight.

    So happy days.

It's pretty fecking sweet really. Got a cool job that's the envy of everyone, and a great girlfriend. Trying to remind myself of all that and be less of a whinging git... It's gonna be my new year's resolution.

Not too bad bar the crushing hangover I have at the minute - work Christmas party last night. There's a maudlin cloud hanging over the office this morning and a noticeable lack of sudden movement.

Really looking forward to being off for Christmas though, it's a nice time of the year :)

Overall my life is good. And I need to remember that more and stop whinging about inconsequential things!

Job is ok, but it's a job I suppose. Plan to explore options and move somewhere with brighter prospects next year.

Awesome girlfriend, and an great group of close friends.

Relatively debt free, just a few more months to pay off car loan then no real liabilities.

And I just bought an EP ticket and booked a trip to Paris.

    All is good :D

I think there are some fundamentals as set out below for getting maximum enjoyment out of your life.

    1. Get a good 8 hours sleep so you don't wake up feeling like crap. That extra few hours on the internet or tele at night isn't really worth being a zombie the next day.

    2. Find a job you are interested in and enjoy which allows you to find fullfillment in mastering your craft as time passes. Obviously not easy finding a job like this.

    3. Stay healthy by eating well and getting good excercise.

Thats all for now. should really follow my own advice more.

    Maybe I enjoy the misery!

I enjoy it when I'm drunk, although sometimes I can get very melancholy with hard liquor. When I'm sober I find it a struggle and very tedious but manage to get through it by targeting the next occasion that I can get drunk as my goal to reach for the week/day etc.

I have a beautiful wife and a beautiful baby daughter.
A job I quite like that pays pretty well.
My house is my own since I cleared the mortgage.

So life is pretty good for me I have to say

You in Ireland? If so you're in the perfect place, Irish women are hardly as attractive as Japanese Women (understatement of the millennium) but they do go INSANE for Black rod.

Right now - it's about the least enjoyable it's ever been....but I think I'm heading in the right direction.

By next Christmas, with any luck, I'll be happy as a clam.
