The one thing that scares me on dating websites is that you really dont know who you talking to. I tend to put their images into TinEye.com just to see if that same image pops up anywhere else. I just did a search on a really attractive girl got 7 hits from a all porn sites.

Been bored recently so took a chance with POF and got talking to this nice looking girl. Figured I would try seeing if she wanted meet up tonight and asked during the week. She said yes but I've not heard anything since.
Gonna leave it off exploring this avenue for dating and hold out and try meeting a girl who asked me out in real life a while back when she's home from holidays.

So, last night was date number two. Dinner and movie. The classic. Haha. I thought it went really well. I really really enjoy her company I have to say, we definitely have shared interests, values, outlook on life and experiences.

Am I right in saying the prospects are good when a couple of hours flies by and the food (however delicious it was!) isnt touched all that much due to the conversation?

Okay finally bit the bullet and put up a profile and pic on POF a hour ago .I got 8 want to meets and 4 messages .Is this normal or just because i am new . A bit freaked out by the speed of it . Will sit down and look through it you would know I am new to this lol . I presume etiquette is to reply to the messages but do i just ignore the want to meet messages that didn't send me a pm .

The meet me thing is a load of crap so Id just ignore it altogether to be honest.

Re the actual messages you have received its up to you if you want to reply.As a bloke,if I message a girl and she isnt interested Id rather she didnt reply rather than sending me a "dear John" message.Others prefer getting a reply.What ever works for you I suppose.

I personally think you have nothing to lose in messaging them all. That is, if you are interested in them! Haha.
