    Worth a punt

    Everton to get relegated (20/1)

    current position: 14th (26pts); relegation zone: 18pts

    Remaining fixtures:

    City (H)
    Wigan (A)
    Chelsea (H)
    Liverpool (A)
    QPR (A)
    Spurs (H)
    Arsenal (H)
    Swansea (A)
    West Brom (H)
    Norwich (A)
    Sunderland (H)
    Stoke (A)
    Man Utd (A)
    Fulham (H)
    Wolves (A)
    Newcastle (H)

Odds sure to fall if they drop as much points as i think over the next couple of months. Think the bookies are being overly generous on this one

Should be a good opportunity to trade out and guarantee some profit after that tough patch

Rumours that Rodwell is on his way too

Their fixtures are very tough. Plus i think they've been very poor this season anyway. They don't have bruiser Cahill diggin them out of holes anymore. Arteta a huge loss. If they lose all of their next four games they're in big trouble will be right down in the relegation mix. In for 50 on this one

Id bet on everton to bet relegated only to trade out at a later date tbh.

Have you compared there fixtures with Wigans? Wolves? Bolton? Blackburn?

Wigan and Wolves are nailed on for the drop imo, and its a toss up between Bolton and Blackburn for the other spot, WBA could get drawn in, even Villa are as likely as Everton I guess, Swansea arent out of the woods yet.

If you take the bet, trade out when the price drops is my advice

about a 1% chance they get relegated. Terrible odds.

southampton look a solid 5/6 tonight lads anyone else to put with them for a double?

    Double of:
Under 2.5 in Gabon v Niger
    Morocco win or draw
    @ 2.00

Gabon v Niger : well, this is a game between two **** teams...kinda like Equatorial Guinea v Libya and Eq Guinea won 1-0, I think it will be a similar scoreline, these two teams met in a friendly last year and Gabon won 1-0, plus most of Gabon's games go under 2.5 > http://www.soccerway.com/teams/gabon/gabon/

Morocco v Tunisia : Morocco have one of the best coaches in this competition imo in Eric Gerets, I'm sure he will get Morocco to play as a team and not a bunch of individuals like most African teams, I can't see Morocco lose this game.

Yes of course i've taken considering the option to trade out. We'll cross that bridge if we get there. @Shangri la nonsense it's a terrible bet have you seen Everton play this season they've been terrible + their best defender out + their best player gone (Arteta) + no one scoring regularly up front + a horrendous fixture list + club has no money to spend. 20/1 is a fantastic price

Think there will be 3 teams that will be worse than Everton at least.
If Everton would have won this weekend they would be in 10th place, would you have considered them then for relegation?

Blacburn/Wolves need to get 8 more points than Everton to keep them below them, cant see that happening to be honest.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Can't see David Moyes getting relegated. He's just a manager who'd somehow pull it out of the bag and Everton will probably finish in the top 10. :P

Everton wont get relegated, having a bad season by all accounts but not too far behind liverpool on the grand scheme of things when you look at it.

There are several teams worse that Everton who WILL get relegated.

Bolton, Blackburn and Wigan to go down. Everton will survive.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,303 ✭✭✭Lasagna Diarra

Wolves will go down imo, they're an awful team.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Wolves, Wigan and QPR I reckon. 3 woeful teams.

Stuck a tenner on Everton to be relagated @ 20/1 - great spot imo, its a great chance to trade out off too as it not beyond the bounds of possibilites that Everton could loose the next 8 games!! Worse case - i loose a tenner and get a few weeks of value out of it rather than 94mins :D:D

spreading out a bet over the next few days !

    southampton
    morroco
man city to qualify over 2.5 goals in barca game

    pays 19/1 !!

Zenit St Petersburg v Uzbekistan U23
Anyone know anything about this game at four? Surely with a ok Zenit team they should win fairly comfortably. Odds of 4/7 for the straight win.

any1 know anythin about french football, montpellier second in ligue 1 6/5 on pp to beat fc tours 7th in ligue 2 in the french cup seems like a great price any opinions?

Bolton, Blackburn,WOLVES and Wigan to go down. Everton will survive.

;) (then again I am biased)

Like the look of Over 2.5 goals tonight in S'hampton-Leicester

Southampton at home have 9/13 (69%) over 2.5
    Leicester away have 6/12 (50%) over 2.5

    Odds 19/20 on Bet365

    Gone for a treble of:
    Southampton @ 10/11
    Over 1.5 Goals Olhanense v Sporting Lisbon @ 3/10
    Luton 1/4

    €39.51 returning €122.57

I fancied Luton to cover the handicap until I looked at Hinckley's past results, they managed to hold Luton to 0-0 at home, and they score bucket loads of goals in their own league, Luton should definitely win but at 1/4 I wouldnt be too interested

Lasagna Diarra is the man to ask about French Football;)

    Tours at home:
    Fri 29/07/11 LI2 Tours 1 - 0 Metz
    Fri 12/08/11 LI2 Tours 1 - 2 Châteauroeux
    Sat 27/08/11 LI2 Tours 2 - 1 Nantes
    Fri 16/09/11 LI2 Tours 1 - 2 Istres
    Fri 23/09/11 LI2 Tours 1 - 1 Amiens SC
    Fri 14/10/11 LI2 Tours 1 - 1 Reims
    Fri 28/10/11 LI2 Tours 0 - 0 Laval
    Fri 11/11/11 CLF Tours 2 - 1 Troyes
    Fri 25/11/11 LI2 Tours 4 - 1 Arles
    Fri 16/12/11 LI2 Tours 5 - 1 Guingamp
    Sat 14/01/12 LI2 Tours 1 - 0 Sedan
    Wed 18/01/12 LI2 Tours 3 - 1 Boulogne

Only lost twice this season at home

Montpellier in fairness have a decent away form for a French club, only lost 3 games awy in Lyon, Valencieenes and Evian

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,237 ✭✭✭✭SteelyDanJalapeno

Lots of france based players at the cup of nations so form could be out the window? I have specifically checked those 2 sides, but it could be a factor

I had looked at the same myself actually... And normally at 1/4 neither would I but I've been burnt a few times over the past few days so trying to claw something back!

4 or more goals in the Southampton V Leicester game is worth a small punt.

    9/4 with PP

Enahanced to 3/1 with William Hill €10 on

    And a €10 double of

    Southampton V Leicester - Over 2.5 @ 10/11
    Olhanense v Sporting Lisbon - BTTS @ 21/10

    Returns €40

Montpellier have a few players out for this game. Tours are in good form, they've won their last 5 home games, while Montpellier have lost their last 2 away games (and against poor teams like Valenciennes & Evian).

The odds on Montpellier were @ 2.00 yesterday and now they're at 2.20, so that's not a good sign, personally I have a small bet on Tours.
