    Purely hypothetical question here.
I was chatting to a mate of mine today and the conversation got on to girls using vibrators (don't ask how the conversation got there!) and it got me thinking, how would you react if you found out your partner regularly used a sex toy?
I know there's been a few threads about if you mind your partner playing with themselves and I've always thought "yeah that doesn't bother me one bit". But if I found out my gf had a giant 14" dildo that she used regularly, I dunno how I'd react. I suppose something like that would make you feel inadequate or something.
So how would you react in that situation? For the lads....what would you do if you found out your gf had a monster sex toy that she regularly used?
And to the girls....what if your fella had a Fleshlight tucked away under the bed that he broke out every time you weren't home?!

Would it bother you if your partner regularly used a sex toy? 335 votes

Couldn't care less. I fap away all day, she can use whatever she wants as long as it's not alive.

Hypothetical. :pac: OP, hide the batteries or she'll leave you after an Ann Summers party.

While I find the idea of a guy using a fleshlight odd,i would have no problem with it at all.

I do want to know do they actually make 14" dildos?

Sex toys are a lot more fun when you don't use them on your own :)

I object when they use them on the bus.

Few of mine were gifts from boyfriends. I got one for my boyfriend, but its one we use together.

If I could get a fleshlight replica of myself I genuinely would. My boyfriend doesn't want one. I have asked, cause I would get him one if he wanted.

Are you worried about being superceded by a piece of plastic? :pac:

You should be delighted if she's using one. Cures hysteria, doncha know? :D Invention predates the vacuum cleaner--good auld Victorian priorities. :pac:

Since a guy can jerk off .... I guess a woman using a toy to do the same isnt bad.. I wouldnt have such an issue with it.

However, if the girl preferred the toy to the real thing. yeah, get lost!

Thanks sean,i do know what a freudian slip is,i'm just not getting what mine was meant to be.

If she preferred the toy to the real thing, that's really just a bad reflection on you hun.

One of our partners used to have a penis pump. Didn't bother me too much, but everyone else hated it when he used it in meetings.

wouldnt bother me in the slightest, have bought them for girlfriends, some women can't climax through just penetration so using a toy as well helps, tis all fun anyway. Dunno why people get so insulted, everyones different, what works for one woman like just sex, oral, rubbing her etc wont work for all of them, half the fun is finding out what does work and going with it.

I actually suppose it wouldn't be too bad as long as she didn't prefer it to the real thing. And they can be good fun when used together.

Hahahaha! I couldn't just thank this, I had to applaud that comment!

    even if it was,
why should I continue to date a person I couldnt please?

So in my example, if that was the case, yes i'd have an issue with it and pack my bags. The same could be said about a woman who cant get her guy off. He prefers his hand. She'd have an issue too.

For some reason in my head, it's fine for girls, but weird for guys.
    I don't know why.
It's completely hypocritical, but that's how I feel.
Probably just because it's socially acceptable for girls these days.
I wouldn't insist that he stops using it, it would just take me a while to get used to it I think.
