Doubt it. Just means whatever magazine he's doing will be doing a preview in December. January an outside possibility though...

Would fit in with my thought that they'd do something for the one year anniversary of the trailer...

Could be something to do with this too:

    rockstar-collection.jpg
Box art and retailer listings have appeared online for the Rockstar Games Collection Episode 1, sound interesting?

The box art was originally posted over on NeoGAF and reveals that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, Red Dead Redemption, LA Noire, and Midnight Club: Los Angeles Complete Edition will be part of the package. Online retailers Buy.com and CDUniverse currently have listings for the collection, and the latter has a placeholder date of November 13 attached to the listing.
Rockstar is yet to offer any comment on the collection.

IMO the whole reason the trailer and pictures have been released so early is to increase interest in R* as a whole.

The GTA trailer was a blatant marketing ploy to promote Max Payne 3.

Not too sure about this, do the masses even know the two games share the same developer?

The idea is that people would start to follow the R* twitter feed and check their website for new GTA info which would have the effect of raising awareness for R's other products.

Looks like they are going to start releasing more information within the next month. They are showing a demo of the game to the press today, with it been the cover story for the Decemeber issue of Game Informer
It seems Rockstar is finally set to pull back the veil on Grand Theft Auto 5, with a demo ready to be revealed to the outside world.

The developer is showing the game to press today, as confirmed by Game Informer editor-in-chief Andy McNamara, who posted on Twitter moments ago: "In NYC, about to check out December's cover game #GTAV", with an accompanying picture of Rockstar's logo.
So, GTA 5 will adorn the cover of GI's December issue, due out next month, and as Kotaku points out, it often reveals first details on its cover games shortly ahead of the magazine release.

So those of you tired of the slow drip-feed of info we've gotten so far will likely get your fill of new details next month if not sooner.

As reported earlier today, GameStop UK is listing a Grand Theft Auto 5 release date of Friday March 1, 2013. Probably placeholder, but March has been previously rumored.

R* have spent exactly nil on promotion for this game and the excitement is already at critical level.

    Release a trailer; no cost.
Few screenshots on their website; no cost.
Invite a few game mags people to their hq; no cost in renting out their own building.

And thats pretty much all they've done where AC3 is out in a few weeks and ive been bombared by their fb and youtube every week for the last few months and i'm still not sure if i'll be buying the game on release.

Well there would have been some cost involved in the trailer and screenshots. Moreso the trailer which probably took the bones of a month or more to plan and produce to make sure it portrayed the game in the best light, while giving people enough stuff to speculate about that it would tide them over until the release of the screenshots.

I get that, but i mean the costs couldnt have been that high for promotion yet.
Like you're talking what, a few thousand max?

Well thanks for nominating yourself. :p I will wait for you to post every article/comment regarding gt5. If it is interesting on a scale of 1/10. It must be between 7 - 10. So if it has the "interest" in it. I will order one copy, unless its damaged (due to careless carrier services-es and what not) I will then order one "undamaged" copy. Also I dont have much money, I can only afford to spend between 5 and 7 euros. Unless it on a deal. In that case I will wait for the details of the deal. Thanks! :p

Probably won't even provide tea and coffee, just made to sit on the floor in a spare office eagerly waiting.
