Dalglish - ''Anyone who doesn't support Suarez can leave''

So, the whole club isn't exactly behind him then, they're being forced to

So you think its beyong the realms of possibilty that this is a nice umbrella for kenny regarding his managerial skills being questioned?

    Thats deluded.

Could be wrong but there is no way its beyond possibility

Yeah, Kenny's thinking of himself and his job. he designed the statement to deflect everyone's attention away from Liverpool's performances. Except yours of course...

I think we know who's deluded here ;)

How does one become a moderator on boards.ie?
I would have thought one would have to be impartial to assume such a position.
Can't see much point in being on here if I'm going to be censored.

    I await my ban!

Suarez probably isn't racist but supporting the use of a racial slur makes you all racist.

Good thing he's not a racist so
It is key to note that Patrice Evra himself in his written statement in this case said 'I don't think that Luis Suarez is racist'

I have explained them enough on other threads so go do a little bit of field research like a good lad.

The problem is that Liverpool never show any accountability for their actions. Even when proven guilty, they have shown utter disrespect for the decision and the people that are affected by the decision. Classless and disgusting.

    Liverpool players' statement
All of us support the club's commitment to fighting racism. All of us accept there is no place in the game for any form of discrimination. As a group of players we totally support the Kick it Out Campaign.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/dec/21/luis-suarez-criminal-investigation-abuse

That's nice. So they support this then:
“The FA has shown leadership and intent through what has clearly been a difficult and complex complaint to deal with, and invested time and expertise to ensure this outcome.

"It has demonstrated that it will not stand for discrimination, something organisations such as FIFA and UEFA should take heed of.

“Kick It Out will continue to work with clubs and players, at professional and grass roots level, offering education on what is deemed offensive and unacceptable behaviour."

The word 'nigreto' is not a racial slur. Check your facts.

Check your own facts for **** sake, how many times does it have to be said that it can be offensive or friendly depending on the context.

It is really sad to see Liverpool FC and Chelsea FC fully 100% support their players. Suarez has been found guilty of racism and Terry is being criminally charged yet it seems that these 2 clubs don't give a fcuk about their players being racist. Last night's show by the Liverpool team was disgusting as was AVB's comments re Terry.

These 2 clubs are disgraceful supporting their racist players as if there is nothing wrong with it. The supporters of these clubs are just as bad trying to defend the indefensible. Really highlights people with racist tendencies - anyone supporting this sort of thing should be ashamed of themselves.

If your brother was arrested and convicted of assault, but he claims he's innocent and you believe him, would you condemn him to everyone even though you think he did nothing wrong and the courts were wrong?

A big opposition that comes up on capital punishment threads is the possiblility of wrongfull convictions. Are the FA infallible?

It's funny how everyone that are condemning Suarez and Liverpool are so sure the FA are right. How many threads have there been on a wide range of topics to do with the FA where people slag them for being incompetant?

The t-shirts thing last night, and the immediate, laughable, response from LFC to Suarez's ban is IMO, extremely embarrassing for Liverpool.

Let there be no doubt about this, from a very early stage, this stopped being a race thing and quickly became a MUFC V LFC thing. Liverpool fans were quick to say that Evra was the boy who cried wolf - sure wasn't this the third time he had racially accused someone. It, of course was only the first time. But why let the facts get in the way of a good ABU rant.

Man Utd fans were equaly quick to call Suarez a racist...when, let's be honest, it would be near impossible for a professional footballer to exist in the modern game whilst harbouring racist views and tendencies. What Suarez actually is, is a pup. Similar to your Keane's, Neville's, Gerrard's Cantona's, Terry's///Bartons etc...He's one of those players that you love at your club, but you secretly know that if he played for someone else, you'd fcuking hate him. Suarez has stuck fingers up at fans, called someone a name - imo just to rile up that person cause no doubt Evra is a wind up merchant himself - bit someone...it's safe to say he's no angel.

The whole thing should have been handled behind closed doors. Liverpool should have gave Suarez a slap on the wrist and that would have been that. But of course with racist allegations being made public they were forced to come out in his defence. I just think they went over board with that defence because the accusers were from Man Utd.

All the fans who are losing the run of themselves over the poor behaviour of two spoilt millionaires...should probably think twice.

In summary, if you support Liverpool and Chelsea you're a racist.

Support Man utd and you are an adulterer.

Support Rangers and you are in the UVF and Celtic IRA.

Warper - well done. You have enlightened me. Not for the first time in this thread.

In today's herald ronnie Whelan says that "evra has made accusations of a similar nature on two other occasions which were proven unfounded". Were they proven unfounded or did he just not take it further!
    .

any paper that allows lies like this to be printed, should be taken to the cleaners. the continued ignorance of liverpool players, fans and not former players towards this particular accusation is just shambolic. its beyond belief that they choose to ignore fact on the matter that evra never got involved in those before, but continue to make up lies.

too many of them are buying into this boy who cried wolf story. its actually ironic that this very fairytale is coming back to haunt them without them realising it themselves.

That wasn't my question but go ahead have your smiley fun .

    My question was ..

Whatever word was used do you know what context or environment it was said in ?
Cause a conversation , argument ,placid chat can change its context quickly and depending on when the alleged word was said does have a very important baring on the facts .

Cause no one here , on the pitch , cameras or the Ref knew when or what was said or under what context it was said in (baring in mind the exact time it was said )

All i can go on (until the facts are released) are from one party who was at the Interview stage, and that was LFC , and in their statement they clearly say that its one mans word against another .

So to summaries ..it is important to the facts in the case to know exactly when the offending word was said

We dont know that so bringing the "context" argument into the debate is as much of a guess as to what word(s) got actually used .

The way Dalglish has conducted himself is, quite frankly, a joke. Shankly would be turning in his grave. No class at all.
