We just had fairly heavy rain there about 10 minutes ago - seems to have eased off now - but then it could have just looked heavy with the strong winds blowing it diagonally!

    It's extremely windy!

Anyone in Firhouse? Had what looked like a mini tornado just pass over, very heavy rain then whilrling winds, roof tiles rattle and then it passes just as quick. Very scary! Anyone else see it?

Not surprising given the intensity of the front passing through.

    Sweet. Jesus. Christ.

Myself and Dad were coming back from Dublin and the wind was dragging the car back and over on the motorway. The rain came down so hard, all visibility was lost and we had to pull in from the motorway. Dad said that in his 30 odd years of driving, not once has he had to pull in coz of the weather.

It's clear in Tuam now though.
