    If you have a cold.

dont turn on the heating or wrap yourself up !

make yourself as cold as possible and be able to sleep and take a paracetamol and it will freeze the cold out of you

actually works better than all the warm cozy stuff

    only learned this today :)

I currently don't have a phone:(. It sadly expired. One of those phones would be an ample replacement.

Use a powerful magnet on your meter to slow it down or even better make it grind to a halt! best done at night and take it out in the morning

Only open the fridge door when you know exactly what you want to put in or take out. Don't leave the fridge door open for ages and ages while you decide!!

Put a timer on your immersion heater if you don't already have one!

Something like 30percent of heat energy can be lost through conventional, non double glazed, windows, so installing double glazed ones can really help keep in heat and reduce energy bills. Yes I know they're sooo expensive but it's an investment.
Also you could wear those "fashionable" Snuggy blankets and never turn the heat on again. The only issue is that if anyone sees you wearing one of those things you can say bye to your social life! :P
