    Cool, 200km on super smooth, super flat tarmac and including the F1 circuit.. Looking forward to this report already!

    Im gonna put it down so that i can admit to myself i have problem...i really want to do a full ironman. Now thats its written down somewhere i feel a bit relieved...like someone admitting they are an alcoholic!...i may retract at a later date

    I did the short distance (1 lap of everything as opposed to 2 for the long) in Abu Dhabi last year, it was great, hot, but a great race, very well run, would love to go again this year but domestic credit all spent.

    Rob Cummins just finished the Ford Ironman, Florida in a time of 9.40.29 to finish in 49th place overall. Eimear Mullan finished in 9.41.58.
    Rob's marathon time was 3.18.37 and Eimear's was 3.07.55.
    Four other Irish in the race.
