I like Leinster to win by 1-12 @ 8/5 vs the Dragons

PP have the handicap at Leinster -2

    Plus I like Aironi +10 v Ospreys @10/11

    Aironi at home:
    Sat 10/09/11 RAP Aironi 19 - 25 Ulster
    Sat 24/09/11 RAP Aironi 25 - 19 Edinburgh
    Sat 08/10/11 RAP Aironi 26 - 37 Cardiff Blues
    Sat 05/11/11 RAP Aironi 6 - 18 Glasgow Warriors
    Fri 23/12/11 RAP Aironi 27 - 13 Benetton Treviso
    Sat 07/01/12 RAP Aironi 20 - 6 Connacht
Sun 26/02/12 RAP Aironi 9 - 10 Newport Gwent Dragons
    Fri 02/03/12 RAP Aironi 6 - 22 Leinster
    Sun 11/03/12 RAP Aironi 21 - 17 Munster
    Sun 15/04/12 RAP Aironi 23 - 26 Scarlets

Lost by 10 or more in 3/10 Home games
I learned vs Connacht this season that the bookies often underestimate these Italians and they will want to give their Pro12 adventure a fitting goodbye. Plus Ospreys are guaranteed a semi final place so this game is bit of a dead rubber for them

Gonna do a double, comes to 3.96/1

Decided since all the Premiership and Rabo games were on I'd have a go with a one accumulator on all the games. Got lucky with Northampton getting a last minute try

With Deasy now starting at 10 for Munster, Ulster +15 (available on PP) looks a decent bet. Deasy isn't the best goalkicker and could miss a few kicks to keep Ulster within that spread.

Atleast this is a bit of a tonic after watching Connachts "performance"

I hate Cardiff, I had Cardiff +9 as part of an accumulator (on all rabo games tonight) and it was the only one that missed

PP enhanced special hairsprays 2/1 (might not last that long )

    http://www.paddypower.com/bet/rugby-enhanced-specials/rugby-enhanced-specials?ev_oc_grp_ids=677463&AFF_ID=10063954

and its Shane's last match at the liberty again !!!! has scored in all his last matches for club and country.

But then again they are playing Munster .;)

Threw everything in my account on that (a whopping 19 euro!). I would have had ospreys as favourites, they're silly odds.

  • Registered Users Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

    Weird Ospreys special.

You can back Munster to win at 7/5, then back Ospreys with the same stake at 2/1 means you are laying the draw.

Therefore locked in profit unless it's a draw right? I can't help feeling there's a catch to this....

hmm that's what I thought but its Munster. We will see tomorrow .

Kahn will be a major pain in the ass for Murray and Keatly too.

And you can throw a euro or two on a draw at 18/1 or 20/1 in boylesports

They do these facebook specials all the time.

    Usually on the football.
Man Utd normal price 1/4 does be enhanced to 1/1 things like that.

Theres no catch only the 25 euro max.

Got on that as well, so it's a win/win situation - if we lose, at least I'll have extra cash to drown my sorrows. :D

Just looking at a double and tempted toward Ospreys -4 and Glasgow +13. Leinster should win but I think the bookies are showing a lack of respect to Glasgow with that spread.

Trying to make sense of this ospreys bet. My mates made a good argument.

Just say you bet 25 on ospreys 2/1 and then 25 on munster at 6/4. If ospreys win you get 75 back minus the 25 on the other bet=50 (original cash) if munster win you get 62.50 minus the 25 on the losing osp bet giving of 25 giving you 37.5 (a loss).

So betting the same stake on each doesn't actually work out? Or have we this wrong?

use a dutching calculator to figure out how to free-roll it if that's your intention. Note that you can't fully freeroll it unless you add in the draw.

    http://www.oddschecker.com/betting-tools/dutching-calculator.html

so in %s of the total stake available - important as there is a constraint on the Ospreys side

45.78% of stake on the Ospreys bet @ 2/1 with Paddy Power
47.68% of total stake on the Munster @ 15/8 with Ladbrokes
6.54% of total stake on the draw @ 20/1 with Stan James/ bet365

You're mixing yourself up. You are betting 50 in total.

Ospreys win you get back €75 - €50 bet is €25 profit.
Munster win you get back €62.50 - €50 bet is €12.50 profit.

No worries. I was thinking of backing Munster as well (realistically the draw chances are slim) but I just can't see them winning over there with the injuries and players missing.

Cue the draw and/or dramatic Munster win!

Well done to all who took the Ospreys over Munster. Did anyone go with a handicap?

I didn't gamble on this, no fundage. So much for payday!
