I was out last night in 'Against The Grain' - one of those new fangled pubs with the new fangled specialist beers going on.. My heart dropped when I saw the endless line of unknown taps at the bar.... only to be resurrected when I saw Galway Hooker right in the middle (well, I saw it posted here so it can't be so bad I thought)

As I was reading through your post, I thought you were going to say that you hated it, and i was going," oh no" to myself:D
Probably not to everyone's taste and there are better ones out there but I do come back to it again and again- smithwicks pale ale is also very good- you'll see it in many off licences now in bottled form.

I got a gift of a bottle of home made Crème de cassis. Concentrated Ribena with added alcohol. I've been putting it into beer for that breakfast taste.
