My kitten/cat's been missing for 3 nights now. She's only 9 or 10 months old and pretty small, and it was so windy and rainy for the last few days :( I hope she's okay, I miss her so much.

That's awful Aoife. :( I remember when our cat went missing for 3/4 days during the awful heavy rain and floods we had about three (or was it four, can't remember) years ago. I was so sick with worry, thankfully though he came back to us, he must have gone to higher ground while it was flooding. Hopefully your cat comes back to you too!

Argh: Just read an upsetting article in the paper about 10 Borneo pygmy elephants in a reserve that were poisoned, they're pretty sure deliberately.:( To make matters worse they left a baby elephant alive and there was a photo above the article of the baby by the dead mother touching her with his trunk!:( There are only 1,500 of them left in the whole world apparently. How can people be so cruel?:( Made me so angry!

My dogs not well :( He had an operation on Tuesday and seemed fine but spent most of last night getting sick. He's up in the vet's now and is on a drip but they don't know what's wrong with him, apparently he's not too good. I hope he pulls through, I know he's old but still :(

One exam down and I'm so done with mocks. I also accidentally found out what's on my English Paper 2 mock (I was searching one of my poets to see if anyone had a sample essay and then a post from the mocks thread came up in search and, well, I didn't avert my eyes :() and now I feel so guilty that I'm refusing to think about any of it, never mind study it. I'm also too fed up to study. Oh life.

5 exams down, 5 to go. So much to learn, so little time.

    *sigh*

Been feeling a bit 'flabby' for the past few weeks (not flabby as such I suppose, but can't think of a better word) and out of interest decided to weigh myself and discovered I'd gone up a few pounds. I plan to nip that in the bud straight away from tomorrow. Can't be doing that lads.

I spent aaaaages agonising over my boyfriend's Valentines Day present, even going so far as to price express shipping of custom orders from America (which made me change my mind because I do not have thirty-five euro to spend on shipping alone but still), and finally picked out something great that I thought he'd really like.

And then he went and said to me 'If anyone's ever thinking of getting me a gift, here's what I'd like' and apparently he wants a case of Curiosity Cola. Which basically means he's taken ALLLL the fun and romance and surprise out of it. I know it makes my life somewhat easier but giving gifts is one of my favourite things to do and it's not going to be special in the slightest now and I'm quite disappointed.

Limited funds or I would! But the cola's like twenty euro and the other gift I had in mind is 25ish so I'm in an either-or situation (joys of being a broke student...)

So, the ankle's broken. Fecksake. On the bright side, my fasting was for nothing, no surgery required!

Just got a call from the vets. My dog's kidneys are failing. We've to go up in an hour to talk and figure out our options, even if he comes home it won't be for long. Our vet is probably going to be bringing him home tonight to try and save him, but at nearly 14, it's not looking too good :(

Kinda annoyed about a couple of questions in my exam today that I should definitely have got right. Also, back in the library and the only feeling I have greater than tiredness is my own self pity :( Poor me :(

im pretty sure i have food poisoning but i havent vomited yet so im confused. either way though i feel like im dying. half expecting the chestburster from alien to shoot out of my abdomen. my one night off of work this week and i have to stay in writhing in agony rather than head out on the lash with the lads. And so continues a long run of the universe screwing with me.

So sorry Pigwidgeon, that must be heartbreaking. I know me saying that won't make it easier but just thought I'd say it anyway.

This is pretty much exactly my situation. I don't even know what to study now. How do I study French?!

I don't think it's possible for anyone to care about anything less than I do about my FYP and college work in general now. This semester is going to be painful.

I feel your pain! Currently sitting in a genetics lecture bored off my head

I think I've hit the study wall and hit it hard. Irish has bored me senseless, it just won't go in anymore! This leaving cert business isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Lol got up this early to cram for Irish Paper 2 and all I'm doing is texting my similarly-minded friends about it and posting here. Might as well go back to my nice, warm, 10-A4-page-free bed...
