Team Argos Shimano doing an end of season clear-out. Use this code to get 60% off: ESA121413. Jersey & Bib Shorts for €42 with discount.

    http://webshop.teamargosshimano.com/default.aspx

I was just trying this on in preparation for it's full debut at the weekend and realised the large jersey is a smidge too big for me. Anyone interested in swapping for a medium? Brand new in bag, never worn.

Note: It's just the jersey I want to swap.

Whatever you do, whatever bargain you think it is, DON'T buy one of these bloody baselayers. I picked up a few last week, and the only way I can describe it is that it's like cycling while wearing a bin bag.

    Sweat city!

This link is for wind proof base layers. Wind proof gear is generally best worn in the winter or on slow rides in low temps. Time to rule 5, put away the winter kit and embrace the summer, try wearing it again in November and see what you think.

Fair point, but it's a breathable back and shortsleeve, so I thought it might be the equivalent of having permanent newspaper down your front - handy for chilly descents!

I'll try again when it's colder, but my instinct then will be to go longsleeve and layer up.

Nobody buy one until I report back in October :p

Not convinced base layers should ever be windproof. That's the job of the outer layer.

I'd give them a go cycling on the flat, I'm not sure how much I'd trust them coming down a hill at speed. I'd be interested to hear from someone that has a set.

Is that the price for the fully kitted and made bike, is it very cheap for a carbon framed bike?

Full bike excluding pedals, which is standard when buying a bike. The price will vary though depending on the various other options one selects.

I assume bike will be delivered flat pack? Any idea of how much will it cost to get assembled?

Very little assembly is usually required. If you check the site the details of what's required should be there somewhere.
