LT David Bakhtiari, LG Josh Sitton, C Evan Dietrich-Smith, RG T.J. Lang, and RT Barclay.

New line. Barclay replaces the human turnstile newhoue

Here's hoping for further improvements tonight against the Seahawks.

Seattler are many peoples favourite for the NFC.

I know its just pre-season, but I hope me get a win to lay down a marker.

our D has been working non stop on read option, there will be no fail mary throws and arent half of the seahawks suspened for peds at this stage

I'd just like to see another good performance from Lacy. I saw the o-line was top ranked in the pre-season, hopefully they can keep up the good work. A win would be nice but not really essential. A solid showing by the defence would also be nice.

I stand corrected but I think DuJuan Harris will be the starting running back tonight.

Unless Lacy is now above him in the pecking order.

I posted that a few days a go, Harris is been given the seniority starter perk but expect Lacy to see a **** load moare of the ball in the real games

There is also the issue of which of the other RBs are going to make the roster, especially as it's likely that they won't keep both Starks and Green, so I can see the Pack spreading the carries around in the 2nd half.

Green imo. Franklin doesnt seem up to much and talk of them trying to trade Starks. Though they might keep franklin as he's a rookie, cheap and can be worked on

Would be hopeful that Franklin is just taking a little longer adjusting to the NFL but will come good with a little patience.

Find it hard to call between Starks and Green. Don't think we saw the best of Green last season because of his ACL recovery and has Starks shown us the best he's got?

I think Green stays. Just because we know he can play. Starks had a string of good games then nothing

According to Schefter, Harrell has been released.

Congratulations gentlemen, Vince young is now your backup QB.

Am I right in saying that at the start of training camp, Harrell was the 'de-facto' backup QB??

The little I've seen of Vince Young, he seems quite competent.
    Pretty quick on his feet.

Young earned his place in pre season. He can at least keep the chains moving

    No surprise there

Harrell had been given plenty of time to develop as a back-up QB but clearly hasn't made any progress this preseason and the prospect of him having to stand-in for Rodgers was

Shame we lost to the Seahawks, but it seems we were running reserves for most of the game again.

McCarthy was positive about the game.

Looks like Thompson has lost faith in Crosby by signing another kicker so close to the roster cuts.

Ramirez looks to have great leg strength and accuracy, if he can perform under the pressure of match conditions the job could well be his.

Crosby was supposed to been carrying on last seasons form. Tbh its time for him to go if he cant kick when required

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,906 ✭✭✭Barney92

Harris out for the season. Very unlucky for the guy.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,158 ✭✭✭Arawn

Eddie Lacy's stock goes through the roof with news coming in that Harris is done for the season

  • Registered Users Posts: 526 ✭✭✭WakeyTyke

So Mason Crosby has had his contract restructured - not exactly a vote of confidence - more a 'three misses and your out' type of deal.

Just what Crosby needs - more pressure.

he can make his full salary before restructure based on performance

Clearly they are tying his pay to performance so that if he doesn't perform and they cut him they don't lose the money.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,158 ✭✭✭Arawn

Well yes, but they are also saying, heres your money, earn it. Just like every other player has to.

    Heavy loss to the Chiefs.

I know its reserves vs reserves, but is there any cause for concern??

    none whatsoever.

The thing is with reserves is the games mean nothing.

Put A.R. in there, chiefs losing start slinging the ball around to try keep up, which means interceptions and so on.

There is a reason why most people consider preseaon pointless

    EDIT: FORGOT TO ADD

Dom Jolly won his roster spot imo completing an unlikely come back.

Tramon Williams has a 100% interception record on snaps played this pre season :pac:

BJ Coleman although surely they'll move for someone else as he hasn't been good enough thus far. Otherwise we're screwed if AR goes down.

    Where you reading youngs release??

Khun has kept his job for another year.

Pack tried out another kicker last night also
