  • Registered Users Posts: 1,615 ✭✭✭Hail 2 Da Thief

Today confirms that AC wasn't sandbagging anyway!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭D3PO

What you said doesn't really matter. Roche says Gadret didn't want to do it but his team persuaded him..

and the teams official line was Gadret had the choice. Your most likely right but officially he wasnt persuaded ;)

    Roche finished pretty darn well!

If Contador is going to be like this for the next couple of mountain stages, well he may as well give up the yellow jersey now.

Roche comes in about 2 minutes down

Awesome finish apparently if text updates are anything to go by

Well done to Frank! I am happy about contador :D Roche just doesn't have it in the big mountains to stay with the big guys, I think he needs to redefine his position.

Great work by Roche and his team to lose so little time, they must have gone past a lot of the group that originally dropped them on the way up.

Andy was fecked at the end. nearly fell off his bike. contador is not in good shape... looks like nether of them are in the form to win it this year. going to be a great tour! its wide open. frank looking good. think he was 20 to 1 to win on GC this morning. will be shorter now. fair play to voekler for keeping yellow

Possibly true, but it's hard to know for sure given his awful start to the season. Hadn't had a mountain top finish in over a month.

Good stuff from Sanchez, four from the top 10 in my team.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,879 ✭✭✭D3PO

gustsy riding by Roche. When he was dropped there was about 25 ahead of him so he certaily reeling in a good few.

Hes much better having ridden tempo that drain everything there today. I suspect Tommy will suffer big time tomorrow for giving so much today.

Looking at Edwins results....where the hell did Peraud fall back too? Roche was dropped well before him...musta really been hurting was Jean Christophe..

    Roche up to tenth now.

€2,800 in the back pocket for AG2R for winning the team prize on todays stage anyway.

Top 10 by Nico, fair play to him, Not a mention in Eurosport as yet.
Otherwise, it was a great stage. If the Shlecks spent more time looking forward than back, they would be dangerous. Vockler is gonna be challengling Hoogerland and Hushvod for "legend" of the Tour with that performance

I think the Vuelta 2010, especially the climb up Bola del mundo dissagree's. ;)

Though, he's a fair bit away from that form atm.

It's going too be very hard for Roche to keep a top 10 spot, as he is now with the big boys and no much room for loss.

I see only Voeckler dropping outside the top 10 when he loses the yellow, the rest (placed 2nd-9th) I find it hard that they will lose time unless something happens....here's hoping Roche get's his form!!!!
