    You do it by sharing a post then add their emails in the field under it. They'll then get an email notification of the message along with a link to join.

    You need to get their email address, then in your stream create a post to them and enter their email address in the 'Circles/people to share with' then click share.

    That's how it worked for me yesterday, and I've invited a few this morning.

    I think its just open to anyone now, if you go to the site it just asks you to login with your google account and theres no mention of having to join or be kept informed etc.

    I dont think so, I've sent about 25 since last night and from the looks of it they all got in (I think!).
