Meant to quote first :S Not really Just 2 T27 bolts to release the airbag(different on some cars). Then 1 17 bolt to completely release the steering wheel.

And then bolt on the new one :)

Pity it's not that simple if you want MFSW though. I need to run 2 extra wires into the connector then change the clockspring because E36's never came with a MFSW so I need it from an E39.

But to just change it, it's fairly simple. Just don't turn the ignition with the steering wheel off or the airbag light will come on.

You sir have some pair of eyes ;)

They are indeed from an Alfa 147, shoehorned to fit :)

The Alfa stuff doesn't stop there mind you...

I also have a 146 rear disc setup (with copper lines and a very stiff arb)
    Image04311.jpg

    146 Handbrake
    Image1112.jpg

146 skirts to fit someday (maybe you spotted the wings too? :D)
    Image1088.jpg

    156 seats
    Image0546.jpg

    156 pedal covers
    Image1094.jpg

    And a 156 wheel
    Image1104.jpg

    Why? Because I can

Expect to see some bits of a 166 in there someday (not my one obviously!) :pac:

So you're openly admitting to saving a Nubira?

    Think carefully about your response.

So now you're saying you'd take money to preserve it?

    This isn't looking good.

I have my van about 2 months now and never had the time to do any engine work with it so far, anyway gave it look over and it was all bad news, 12 year old van still had its original timing belt :O and water pump, fuel filter rusted to the point there was gonna be a hole in it and power steering belt ready to snap.

Anyway yesterday with help I tackled the van and replaced everything and my god is it a different van :D

I have to change the pedal box today have it ready to go into it so I hope it wont take too long :)

Rebuild a siezed caliper after new Pads on the Esty.

Took it out for a spin to find I had done the wrong side  (despite burning my finger on the disc when checking).

.... rebuilt both front calipers on the Esty :D

Think I know what the squeeking is now. May have burned off the bearing or CV grease with the red hot disc....

(aslo did n/s outer steering arm on bro's W211)

Going out this morning to wash the M5 and make a paint thickness map. Looks like it has been buffed already. Hope there's scope for some more. Few scratches I want to flatten out.
