Savage alright...I love FTOs...cheap as chips at the moment but near impossible to get a decent insurance quote...no issues with the MR2 strangely enough :o

Near impossible to get a quote, let alone a decent one. Luckily mine is under 6 hundred, but one of the other lads here paid 2k about a week ago

    More 406 stuff!

    New door lock
    Image2178.jpg

The old one wasn't working right, it had been cobbled onto the car by a previous monkey
    Image2179.jpg

Now it locks with the key! Just a clip on the door handle to sort....

    Next: hinge
    Image2180.jpg

    Better
    Image2181.jpg

Suddenly, radiator from an air con car
    Image2182.jpg

    New thermo pipe too...

    The reason
    Image2183.jpg

Twice as heavy as the new one!

    Better
    Image2188.jpg

Thanks to Barura for helping me figure why this wouldn't fit!
    Image2186.jpg

The piece along the window was upside down....

Dash trim fitted with a nice scented air freshener
    Image2187.jpg

There was a bracket that needed fitting for the GLX door card. Out with the lazy tongs...
    Image2189.jpg

    Fitted and wired up!
    Image2191.jpg

Scary, the interior is almost finished....!
    Image2192.jpg
    Image2193.jpg

Ready for Wednesday, bring it on!!!!

It's the best one overall, miltek system is over twice the price tbh and all it gets over it is 4" tailpipes

    Tesco!

Put about 200 ml of it into the Lidl pressure sprayer I bought for four euro.

I washed the car, then sprayed this mixture over it wet. Then used my car squeegee thing to flick off the water, then buffed it with a micro fibre.

Honestly, took me about five minutes after washing the car, and I'm definitely going to do it after every wash, I'm very impressed with it.

Changed the blown bulbs in the dash, surprisingly easy and quick to do! However, now I know this it makes me want to change them all to blue!

@tallon - That looks class. Did you have to solder the LEDs or did they just kinda clip in?

They're actual bulbs for the lexus, they literally just replace the very same way an indicator bulb do... Simple to do

Today someone else did something to my car... drove in to the corner of it!! Some taxi driver cutting lanes on a roundabout. Was some thicko about it too, wanted to drive off but I wouldn't let him. Not gonna be cheap replacing a front bumper, wing and headlights on an MG ZS, the prick!

Said that to the Garda when he said ah there's not much damage, and the other driver shouts ah that's a load of bull ****! If only he knew!

Here's what it looks like now, want to get a few photos at night time too!

Been thinking about Angel eyes also, but they would have to be the Actual ones instead of the cheap ones as I've heard bad things

Good luck to him finding a new bumper!

You'd be surprised what they can fix. Its a pet hate of mine, those ignorant taxi drivers who take no notice of other road users. We pay road tax too!!! and because many of us use the road less, we should have priority over them :D

All you need now is a GTTDI badge. I actually done something today too, fitted footwells bulbs in the focus. The bulb holders were taped up inside so had to go routing for them.
