Hey I heard some people say this consumes too much power to be used on laptops? Is that true or is it only for older laptops?

Is nobody else a little bit sceptical as to why this is so cheap?

Sceptical when buying an item with 3 years manufacturer warranty directly from Amazon at less than half the RRP? No.

Doesn't apply to newer laptops (say... 2004+ or so).

Bought one, and rang my mate who bought one. Just hope mine actually does get delivered says a June 20th dispatch estimate.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,923 ✭✭✭kearneybobs

The dispatch date seems to be a bit random. Mine, which I just ordered there five mins ago says due to be delivered on the 8th-18th of July. People who ordered it a few hours ago are getting dates after mine.

Couldn't resist at that price even though I already own 3 smaller HDs.

Ordered mine around 12pm, got a date of 25th-27th June, ordered another for mate at 4pm and got a date of 8th-18th July.

Or he could have left it at standard shipping.
