I used Aljazeera sport for many years and used the online service of BeinSport last year, I had several issues with Beinsport, it was lagging a lot, several issues with VPN and SmartDNS providers and so on..........I decided to go back to streaming and found several websites that offer free streaming of all the Beinsport channels and much more, I also found an app for android devices for free.
The quality isn't as HD as BeinSport but it's very very good and most importantly lag free and doesn't cost a cent so I won't go back to BeinSport unless it's working 100%.

there using xbmc streams rather than website

Hmmm, why couldn't they just have told us that from the beginning since the rest of us were all talking about VPN and paid subscriptions.

Woops, just saw TCP's post - so ignore above.

Fair enough. Just we were all talking about paid subscriptions to Bein (or NBC) and saying how it was blocked, then you came along and said yours was coming in loud and clear and thus the confusion.

Are these any better than the mx2 android box I'm currently using?

Yes - different league altogether. Too many dead/bad links on Android/xbmc.
The MAG is setup like a satellite box , very user-friendly and IPTV is much more stable.

that's the advantage of BeinSport, broad coverage and multiscreen on PC or Mac :)

No Championship matches screened anywhere tonight? Also I tried to listen to the Norwich match on BBC Radio but I was shut out. Even with DNS and VPN sorted.

Is BBC Radio properly shut out now for live sports commentaries?

Do you not have a satellite dish? All bbc radios free to air loud and clear via satellite, and this is a satellite sub forum :)

Yep but it's ruled out as it would take over the TV and you couldn't watch television then. :(

Valid point about it being the satellite forum though! :D :pac:

You could always run a extra sat cable to a cheap old separate sat box and plug that into a sound system? Just an idea

True. Sure I could rustle up something to make do. :)

The thing that got me thinking though is if the BBC have gone the way of Bein Sports and are simply not streaming some/all live sports commentaries online any more?

Yes I think that's the same, same also for talksport UK.

Of course I don't blame the stations I blame the English FA

    Anyone using Premier League Pass?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 122 ✭✭Razorfish

I'm using Premier League Pass. I play it through their App and Airplay it through Apple TV. HD quality. Availed of their discounted season pass at roughly 97 Euro.
