Went up The Cut in the Slieve Blooms this morning, never saw a soul till I got to the top, where there was a gundog trial taking place.

But a bit brighter lower down,

Down to the bottom and back up into the mist again, you can see where it got its name.

Long straights make the Clonaslee side hard coming up, you can see how far you have to go, but the poorish surface stops (me anyway) you letting rip on the way back down.

Ice. Had to ride back from Lourdes on the same gear. Gears and brakes frozen.
