Some from short spin up to Ballyboughal and home thsi morning.

Flat calm in Portmarnock and no one around. Came back through there bout 90 minutes later and the beach was crawling with walkers and the wind had picked up

Not a great pic but Ive passed this grass runway a number of times and never seen sight nor sound of a plane. Theres a big farm machinery palce across the road where I thought you might see a plane in the yard

Very near where I live. Was that you that got the KOM on Wednesday last?
There is another climb very close to there also (called Manulla Berg on Strava). Some great views from up there.

Quick short spin out to Howth this morning and went up the nice little climb at Balscadden. Was so quiet.

unfortunatly its not just the phoenix park though. Any nice area or beauty spot nowadays seems to be covered in cans, chip boxes and wrappers. But theres a certain type of fellow citizen in this country now a days who doesnt give a monkeys about their surroundings or fellow citizens once their dole money is coming in and they get everything they want off the state

its a bit harsh on people who collect dole money, not everyone who collects dole is a scrote who dumps their rubbish. I dont think you would appreciate it if some classed you in a derogatory way just because you cycle a bike, I know I sure wouldnt.

Meant to post this last week. People born in North Wicklow 70's/80's may remember the place well, but it's a sad sight now!

That'd be the La touche it was well known for its night club lautrex I vaguely remember the bar that was there. To be honest even in its hay day it wasn't a great hotel but it's one hell of an eye sore now.

Connor Pass. Climbed it from both sides on Tuesday. It's a wonderful place but very weather dependent. The next day you couldn't see beyond your nose.

My annual visit to Phil Lynott's grave.

With the very bad weather I decided I'd stay local and took the hybrid, and got a bloody God damned almighty soaking

May i ask where this is?

It's the Ladies Brea, Sligo. About 20 km from Sligo town. You can get there from Beltra/ Dromard or Coolaney. Coolaney is an easier climb.
