How necessary is the wine box?

Not overly, but found it handy to keep flask upright ;)

i got the trailer off eventually but i still couldnt come out, seemed like body of quad was just sitting on bank, had no traction, i think if i tried without trailer to begin with i might have made it

You had right to get your neighbour to sit up on it....wouldnt have been stuck for traction then ;)

Id go with KFY myself on FBX, he should bring a bit of size and plenty off milk into the mix. (not having seen the hiefer but FBX usually bred medium sized thick cattle)

Would you regard KFY as a better breeder of bulls or heifers, or equally strong on both?

To me you need a good cow for him. He will add size and plenty off milk so in that regard hiefers i suppose. Saying that iv seen some cracking bulls off him too, but hes not the muscleyist bull in the world. I wouldnt be giving him to plain cows expecting a show winner!
This is all only my humble opinion

We have bred some very good stock of smallish Limx cows. He is in a couple of bigger ones for the backend though.

The CH crosses well with the Sim I think.

Cows in to get their feet done earlier. First calf is a WTB heifer, one I have shown earlier here, rounding up well so may be on the show circuit this year. Second is our sectioned bull, same sire.

Thanks! She's next to her dam, roughly early March she was born. Her dam is a PB LM out of Navarin and was off an embryo cow.

I like IS4 hes breeding nice com. stock, good frame on him and should bring size. APZ is a lovely looking bull but hes by no means big in the flesh, great thickness to him throughout. Should be easy calving too. No calves out of him yet myself, couple due in the back end.

Cheers he was born the last week in november

What do you do with your heifers? How would you normally sell them, through a Simm Society sale or sell priveately?
I'd love to buy a couple of pedigree Simmentals some day?.
Lovely heifers, especially the one on the far right..

Was thinking it couldn't be Kilsheelan - but know exactly where you are know - big places around there

Played plenty of games in Monroe (back in the day;)) not too bad a pitch

Big pitch to be running around after Deckie Brown though:D
