I've no allegiances whatsoever when it comes to betting

funny enough when someone mentioned it here my first thought
was of liverpool (being a supporter also)
In seasons gone by backing liverpool was a quick way to
the poorhouse...laying them away from home was very profitable
the season gone by the exception of course.

then you have some who bet with their hearts which is
    rarely a good idea

Maynard at 6/5 to beat Ross Pearson is a mental price, I think he's better than Pearson in every aspect.

Fancy Ross to take this standing possibly a Ko
Maynard not the same fighter since the Edgar losses and under 5 mins octagon
Time in 2 years surely won't help
If he doesn't get Ross down I think he'll be kod for the 4th time in 5

I do believe Gray Maynard is on the slide, wouldn't back him.

You're both right Gray's certainly not improving but he's only lost to elite level fighters and I think Pearson (who I don't think has a top 10 win) is a step down in quality from the likes of Edgar, Grant and Diaz.

I think Pearson will shade it by decision. He's a good technical striker who should pick Maynard apart imo. I've just gone for a treble of:

    Pearson @ 4/5
    Makovsky @ 3/10
    Jordan @ 8/15

Went on OSP (13/10 on Hills) to beat Bader, OSP is on an upward curve and this momentum should be enough to see a win.

wondering bout that lad alright and if he can keep bader off him
if he does I think he beats bader but I fear the worst

    single on ross at 4/5

    cant see much else
was tempted by ross round two at 8/1 but left it

Gonna stick a treble on just to make it interesting

Gray Maynard is on the downward lately but I think he will keep it on the ground easily enough and just grind out the win.

Jordan has experience and heavy hands, tempted to go with the KO over just the win.

Gonna go with Boetsch based on value and giving Tavares problems hes struggled with against other similar fighters

    Little treble for interest
Brad tavares on points, Bader win, Maynard/Pearson to go distance about 5/1

I think the Maynard/Pearson fight will be close, I'm finding it hard to pick a winner although I would prefer Ross to win.

So what are we thinking of Le / Bisping? I'm considering betting on Le, with Bisping's eye as a big question mark.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 11,139 Mod ✭✭✭✭Mr. Manager

Le to put his lights out in the 1st :)

Really like Bisping though and hope he wins

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 310 ✭✭Glock Lesnar

Going to take a Tyron Woodly/Michael Bisping double.

Tyron was at evens now he's at 4/6, he should be well able to dispatch DHK.
Cung Le has put on a lot of muscle mass for this fight and if he doesn't knock Bisping out in the first 3 minutes he won't win.

Agree with you Glock. Really like Woodley in this one. His first 2 losses he returned with a KO win and I think he does the same to Kim here. Woodleys gas tank ain't huge but neither is Kim's. I'm going with an accumulator of Bisping, Woodley, Henderson and Leites. Leites is the wild card but he is on a very run and good value at 6/5, especially with Carmont coming off 2 losses, one a very lackluster one to CB Dolloway. I think Leites can outgrapple carmont and take a tight decision. tenner pays out 62.

Really liking the look of Le winning in first rd wit PP at a huge 14/1, if he's gonna win it'll be early.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,539 ✭✭✭John_D80

Bisping to win in rd 2: 17/2

    All over that.

On Paddy Power. I thought 17/2 was generous. 10/1 is fantastic odds.

Could have sworn I saw Max Holloway at 6/5 in his fight yesterday. Thought it was strange at the time as I never even heard of the guy he's fighting, went to back it today and he'd gone to 1/4. Either I'm dreaming, or PP noticed they made a mistake

    paddy 14/1 on that

good odds alright as it's its the only round it'll probably happen if
    he does it

really found it hard to settle on a bet this weekend
torn between carmont pts, bendo pts,
    carmont/bendo double
even bisbing/saunders but dont know anything about saunders opponent
he would need to be very good to be beating saunders however, just glad
    to see him back myself
if bisbing makes it past the first round he should coast to victory

settled on bendo+ricci though the double works out at only 1.82 with pp (3/10+2/5)
I think bendo is simply a little better all round than dos anjos and will get it
done on pts like so often,
ricci v sotiropolous is actually on in three hours (titan fc)
riccis stand up is on a different level to george and if he keeps this standing
I think he will have no problem beating george

I've gone for a long range treble , about time Bet365 put up prices for more than just the current card.

Woodley @ 5/8 vs Stun Gun
    Dillashaw @ 5/8 vs Barao
    Correia @ 5/8 vs Baiszler
