Looks ok here today, windy with sunshine, possibility few showers later on though. Might get the lawnmower started for the first time this year:o

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Totally agree. Growth is well back on last year. Currently strip feeding a field of meadow.

On v.good land silage crops are as good if not better as any year ,but I have marshy ground where no growth this year especially where grazed late in november in excellent conditions .Remember 2009 and 2013 were def. worse so I suppose you could argue it is average

Back to the winter around Tralee, bad showers and hailstones.
    Not much growth here. 😒
Dosed a couple of yearlings yesterday, they ran in over into the yard, was half thinking of putting them in for a few days but decided against.

Horrible morning here. I've left the shed open and the cattle 'put themselves to bed' every evening around 9pm and go out 7ish. Grass growth is rubbish, I'm still giving a bale to top up and straw in the shed as well.

Rotten morning here, been real heavy showers since 5 and dammed cold. completely messing grazing plans as the cows have to go onto the drier ground which has little cover and going to eat it back, with ground that should be getting eaten now likely going to get shot.
