Cork is the unsnowiest place in Europe. It even snows more in Nice for God's sake. There will be barely a flake in Cork City over this cold period.:mad::mad:

I have to say, I expected some snow in Dublin by now from all the forecasts I've been hearing/reading, even just a little bit. It's definitely chilly out though, I can see some frosty cars just looking out my window.

Will be interesting to watch the radar and satellite in next few hours, some decent formations forming to the west of Scotland as deep convection occurs in the deep cold pool.

I would expect a more widespread dusting of snow than previously anticipated.

Possible 1-2cm in the Dublin region by dawn ;)

Aye Weathercheck, there's a nice look to what's coming south from the Western Isles of Scotland on the satellite imagery. I see the radar's also showing the bit of circulation with that mass clump of showers.

Just a reminder to look in on your older or infirm neighbors during this cold/snow, see if they need anything from the shops, etc. its a lot of fun for us but not fun for them.

Has anyone heard from Deep Easterly tonight?

    :pac:
