The last thing folks here probably need is another handheld emulator, but folks over in bargain alerts are saying these are very good.

Has a Ciderdude SD card slot too to fit more games on.

Comes to something like €22 with this code 6e3c0c68f4

Ah balls, looks like that discount code doesn't work.

This one will get you 5% off - spring6

edit - bought one for the craic. Came to €21.38 posted with the code.

I'd love to, who knows what cabs are in it. The hassle of getting them from galway by the 6th of March though. Don't think I could do that.

Hmm, that sounds like something someone without a cab would say :D

sounds like the all generic jamma cabs?

    Stand up black cabs.
    Leisure 2000s?
one of the worst things I ever did was sell my leisure 2000 mame cab :(
I sold it to my cousin tho so I'll get it back one day.

There was just something about it.it played wonderfully and was so reliable

My Leisure 2000 was an ugly fat bastard with a dodgy monitor and ****ty sticks/buttons but I loved it so :(

ELG? He's actually a really decent chap! :) bought some stuff from me last year.

I'd have no interest in these cabs but would love to know what PCB treasures they may hide within... any Galway locals remember an arcade around those parts and what games they remember playing?

Yea im sure he is but 800 for a mortal kombat!
    30 x 800 = 24,000 :D

My first cab was the same sort of trad Brit cab, and I was happy to have it but even happier to trade for a Candy.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 5,381 Mod ✭✭✭✭Optimus Prime

Sounds like the guy hasnt a clue what they are, could be 30 poker machines from his description.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,198 ✭✭✭MrVestek

ELG is a decent lad. His cabs might be a little bit more than you'd like to pay for them but he keeps them in immaculate condition and makes sure that they get transported without any damages etc.

Most of the cabs you pick up for a hundred or two have been bashed about and require alot of restoration work.

You get what you pay for if you ask me.

Not a bad profit on 1.5k!

At one time I was considering dropping €750 on a MK2 cab on adverts. This was before I knew anything about arcade machines.

Funny how your opinions can change with a bit of experience!

    Although, I'd still love a MK2 cab...

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,772 ✭✭✭Jack burton

I'd love a MK 2 cab aswell. But maybe take a zero off the adverts price and I can talk with someone :P
