Have the clocks gone back in America yet? Like, will these start at 5pm or 6pm our time?

Tonight at 2am their time, I think, I checked NFL.com's fantasy football for the times since they have them geo-synced. That'd mean we're back on the 6,9,1ish timetable from the earlier weeks.

Well "fall back" one hour Saturday night (or more precisely, 2AM Sunday morning).

    Sunday 6:00pm:
Tampa Bay @ Atlanta - Atlanta don't lose at home

Chicago @ Buffalo - Say chicago will edge this one, though if theres 1 person that can fcuk this up, it's cutler. if buffalo play like they did the last 2 weeks they have a good chance

New England @ Cleveland - Pats will have too much for the browns

New York Jets @ Detroit - bit of a mismatch here

Arizona @ Minnesota - arizona can't stop the run... hello adrian peterson

New Orleans @ Carolina - Carolina will play them close but NO will probably squeak it

Miami @ Baltimore - Miami are hardly going to stay unbeaten on the road, and baltimore is as good a place as any for them to get their 1st road loss

San Diego @ Houston - Houston cant stop the pass so i cannot see how they'll get out of this one

    Sunday 9:15pm:
New York Giants @ Seattle - Close game as seattle are at home and are good vs the run but i expect the giants to have a bit too much and to edge it

Kansas City @ Oakland - unsure but gun to my head, id take oakland after how they played the last 2 weeks and on the basis of how kansas were last week.

Indianapolis @ Philadelphia - close game but im going with manning on this one

    Monday 1:20am:
Dallas @ Green Bay - if recent form is anything to go by, then god help Dallas

    Tuesday 1:30am:
Pittsburgh @ Cincinnati - Cincinnati really aren't that good... Pittsburgh, meanwhile, are.

Edit: Denver on a bye... thank god, no defeats this week!

    10-0 Browns already:eek:

Is this team for real. Like they did the Saints who looked good the weeks before and after that game.

Peyton Hillis is such a beast. HERE WE GO BROWNIES HERE WE GO!

When your kick returner fumbles you could slot in a 70 year old and he'd probably punch it in!

Finally Brady gets on the field. At 10 to zip.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 19,986 ✭✭✭✭mikemac

    7-7 Fins and Ravens

Neither teams can stop the run it seems.
    It's gonna be a shootout,

And yes, Hillis is a beast!

He'd play defence, but it'd mess up his hair.

Gutsy if not stupid 4th down rush there from the browns

Favre to AP for a TD, and then the Cards return the kick for a TD to tie it up.

Brady is gonna bring it in this 2nd quarter isn't he :(

Arian Foster actually is fcuking unreal, why did i bench him this week in FF.... Jamaal Charles, you'll have to pick up the slack later now..(Todd haley will probably use him about 5 times now and give TJ the ball repeatedly knowing my luck)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,369 ✭✭✭UnitedIrishman

It's currently Arian Foster vs. the Chargers.

Wonder how many yards he made on that move alone.

    Thats true actually, what's Rivers 7 for 7 and 2 TD's?

Great play by Cleveland against Patriots, with my stuttering stream I hadn't a clue where the ball was either.

    10/11 175 2T

Foster meanwhile is already near 100 and has 2 TDs, the lad is unreal, he should definitely be starting in the pro bowl for AFC this year

McCoy is having some game. Don't get why BB challenged that. Thats two bad challenges in two consecutive games.

Not looking good for the Patriots, I guess the only consolation for Patriots fans is that the Jets are losing to the Lions

Bound to happen at some point. Big turning point for the Pats Gronkowski Fumble before the half. Had we scored on that drive the Confidence would still be up. But this is truly the McCoy and Hillis show.

McCoy I have to say is looking better and better by the weeks. He keeps growing at this rate as a pro QB he could be hanging with the big boys. His presence in the pocket and his confidence and coolness back there is amazing for a rookie.

    Go Browns

New to NFL, seems like there's more form in Lotto numbers. I read an article during the week saying the Patriots were the best team in the league, and I see them being tonked tonight by the 2-5 Browns.

Last week, hearing the Jets were one of the best, I tuned in to see what they were like, and they lost 9-0 at home.

Hard to get a handle on what teams are supposed to be setting the standard.

Dont forget Superbowl 2nd favourite Dallas at 1-6!

It is abnormally erratic this year alright though

He certainly has been improving every week and he has been brilliant today. Only thing is that all the rolling out and rushing is a sure fire way to get hurt.

The Browns are at home, just had their bye week which is always a huge advantage to a team as they are very fresh and have had time to work on things. And they beat the current superbowl champs in their last game. Whats happening today was not expected but the Browns have lost a lot of close games this year and after this they will be respected.

Article most likely said best team in the league by winning record right now. At 6-1 they are the best by record. This year the NFL truly has no clear "favourite" or "Best team" out there. It will be all about numbers at this point of the season.
Last week, hearing the Jets were one of the best, I tuned in to see what they were like, and they lost 9-0 at home.

Every good team in every sport loses games ;)

American Football is the type of sport that team could go on long winning streak and then crash right back down to earth with a huge loss. Never as black and white as people make out.

I agree that it Could get him hurt but it hasn't so far and to be fair he has only done it because he is getting chased down in the backfield or had the space to fit a truck in ahead of him. Shows that he has speed for a guy who is classed as a pure pocket passer. And his passes on the move are very good also.

I've watched every game and even managed to get to go to one. If it wasn't for that monkey Delhomme we certainly would have been 4-3 going into this one. Steelers have been the only team that have convincingly beat us this season.

    Nice catch Hillis

    V disappointing performance
