What stupidity will they come up with next!
Free cheese! Fcuk me! No wonder Ireland is sometimes laughed at!

    Seriously, think about it.
The country is in a very bad way and one solution they come up with, is to hand out free cheese!

    Crazy schite altogether.

Cheese is a high energy food so a good way to boost the body's metabolism if you don't eat much else.

Excellent news, I can now unfreeze my free butter which I've had in storage in 1987 and make a sandwich.

Oh wait I need some free bread....:(

It's also a staple food in much of Europe, consumed on an almost daily basis in one form or another. If the scheme is being funded by Europe could it be that it was they who are providing it?

What if you don't like cheese? (I don't)
    Guess I starve (I won't really). :o

I'd love to see the minutes of the meeting in the EUropean Commision where somebody suggested spending money to buy cheese for poor Irish people. That's an idea someone comes up with at 5am on Saturday morning after a 12 hour session.

    Free cheese?
If it's the yellow crap made from milk, eh no thanks, that's disgusting, i would quite literally rather eat $hit.
If it's the extremely potent strain of marijuana, beloved of stoners everywhere, yea go on then;)
    Happy Christmas!

Where is the outlet for the people of the West and North West to get their free cheese?! Suppose they shall be left to go hungry this Christmas! Like living in this country under the current government isn't enough of a nightmare - after all this cheddar it'll be a million times worse!!

We may be all in the workhouse by Christmas but at least the EU are giving us free cheese for Christmas. Will it be hard cheese?

Are you sure it's the dairy form of cheese?
Maybe it one last attempt by the government to pacify the population with drugs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheese_%28recreational_drug%29
