    The country is in a very bad way and one solution they come up with, is to hand out free cheese!

    It's also a staple food in much of Europe, consumed on an almost daily basis in one form or another. If the scheme is being funded by Europe could it be that it was they who are providing it?

    I'd love to see the minutes of the meeting in the EUropean Commision where somebody suggested spending money to buy cheese for poor Irish people. That's an idea someone comes up with at 5am on Saturday morning after a 12 hour session.

    Where is the outlet for the people of the West and North West to get their free cheese?! Suppose they shall be left to go hungry this Christmas! Like living in this country under the current government isn't enough of a nightmare - after all this cheddar it'll be a million times worse!!
