It's almost as if EA sincerely want to piss off as many customers as possible, starting by not being available on steam and on their lousy service instead.

Doesn't BF3 not have spectator mode?

Purely subjective but I had that mouse and hated it. 2 reasons were:

    1. The fact that it's ambidextrous it never felt right in my hand compared to any of my previous Logitech mice.
    2. Whatever way it sat, I sometimes found the mouse slightly moved when I clicked it. This may have been me and it wasn't something that happed all the time but it happened enough to pi$$ me off and I went out and replaced it with another G9.

I've never had a better gaming experience than with Logitech mice (MX518 and 2xG9) but the fact that I've gone through 3 of them says something about their durability IMO.

    Rgds

Had one years ago Shadow, never liked it either. Felt too big and could not get used to it-and that's coming from a lefty that is well used to ambidextrous mice. I got rid of and got a deathadder instead. The L&R buttons are huge, ad the thing looks like plastic road kill as well.

My deathadder 3.5 is on the way out-side buttons getting loose so I ordered a SteelSeries Sensei Raw from amazon UK Friday-works out at €66.99 delivered.

You should give them a look.

Depends on how bad is your current mouse:) I usually go with supersaver as its usually only a day or so later than standard.

it pisses me off so badly that i want to punch kittens.

drivers and software does not want to save my settings. so everytime i turn on pc sensitivity is so high that it would finish any nimfomaniac chick in seconds.
so i need to sort that out every single start up.. wheel button is so hard to push that i swap anything its being used in games for mouse 4 or 5.
Last time i buy anything CMstorm

LOL, then buy a new mouse fast and FFS stay away from the pet shop:D

Should have mine mid week & will post a comparison to the Deathadder. If you're going Steelseries the general consensus is to stay away from the glossy finished ones as they get very slippy after prolonged use.

hmmm i got mail that my mouse was dispatched. looks like it was dispatch from some german/ish country too.

Got a mail mine has shipped, just noticed it was from a 3rd party seller-look reputable though.

Could have sworn I chose amazon-but then I ordered from the crappy iphone app:o.

I was sure I ordered from amazon seller too. Need to double check now. I will burst a testicle if it's non amazon seller.

Amazon sometimes use "fulfilled by seller XYZ". This is usually much the same as ordering from amazon themselves and they'll cover any problems that happen in the process. Nothing to worry about. I wouldn't even worry about ordering about most third party sellers aside from the shipping costs. I've order from various ones and have never had any major problems.

    Thanks Monotype, good to know.

I am thinking of jumping the ship for the very long time myself. Galaxy s3 looks sweet, but it is not a fecking phone! I love my phones to be out of cases and in my pocket. No way I can fit that in my pocket!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,170 ✭✭✭✭ED E

Suppose it depends on what height you are but I wouldnt have any trouble with an S3 in my pockets, my XS fits with plenty of space to spare. Its worth trying out(say borrow an old S2).

I just realised I can order Sanyo Eneloops from Amazon.de for less than it would cost to order them from Amazon.co.uk

I can finally start slowly replacing all the batteries in my house!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,387 ✭✭✭glynf

Yeah, thinking about the S3, the S2 is a nice size but the S3 is a bit bigger again.

Got the gf a nexus 7 lately and was messing about trying to connect the iphone to it via bluetooth to use away from wifi and would it pair? not a hope, 'device unsupported'.

Tried it with her S2, worked first time. What pisses me off is that anything I want to do is crippled by bloody apple.

    Just hotspot no?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,699 ✭✭✭Brian

My main problem with the Nexus 7 is that it is wifi only. It seems strange to me to make a device that is basically tethered to my house when I already have a PC there. I could use the wifi hotspot on my phone but the battery life on that is bad enough as it is. Add in the low / non-expandable storage and you have a double blow of inutility. If it had 3G I would be fine with only 8 or 16 GB because I could stream content instead.

So how's nexus 7 itself? Good device? How much it set you back?

I was toying around with some tablet idea device.
