    Said I would start a thread for all the new people to say hi.

    With Black Ops coming in the next couple of weeks I'd say we will have a lot more people posting here and hopefully some of the lurkers will come out too :)


    Please say hello and get involved in both the banter and the regular parties the Boards.ie lads have:

    If any PC user wants to start a thread for just them by all means go ahead :)
    I'm not one for self praise but.......... there wasn't a PS3 thread for ages until I used by amazing good looks, witty charm and intensely ingenious thinking + initiative to start one up :pac:

    Can't wait! A bit pricey at €60 (on Steam), but you do get the Nazi mode, so it's not all that bad. Probably could get it in the shops, but couldn't be bothered queuing for it on the launch day. Thank feck that this will have dedicated servers this time around: that P2P sh|te that they did with MW2 was ghey.

    Split between Xbox and Ps, few PC.
    Be proactive with the invites :) Most of the people that have a good few friends already added don't usually go adding more people unless asked, myself included.

    I think the lads will all agree that whether you're any good or not doesn't matter that much when we're partying up. It's moren about just having a laugh. Plus, it's alot easier to play in a party :)

    If you have any questions that you need to ask re: the forum, just ask myself or r3nu4l and we'll get back to you as soon as.

    Also some good advice I can pass on to any newbies to this place or COD itself is to add a few of the other poster names yourself. Many of the people who left the username/ID's in the Sharing Gamertag thread rarely check it out so I've read.

    Most boardsies will add fellow boardsies :)

    On that note, is there any way to add some sort of message to Friend Invites on Steam (for anyone who's playing on PC)? I didn't see any apparent option to add a bit of text to the Friend Request when I added cherryghost (although, I'm hoping he remembered my Boards name after adding it to the XBL/PSN/Steam ID list), but I can't expect every other Boardsie to figure out who I am :P
