Instead of removing quick-scoping, they should have a system that causes people who do the arrogant 360 spinning quickscope to be hunted down and punched in the face. Much more satisfactory I think.

Id like it if they got rid of the knife completely, or at least make it harder and slower to use. In many situations the knife is more powerful then a gun which is ridiculous. Ive often put 2-3 bullets into someone only for them to knife me:rolleyes:
Also make 1 hit kill guns like shotguns and snipers less powerful.

Well that sparks the idea of an actual tactical knife. When ammo is empty or simply decided against in order to be tactical it could be used like a ninja or just basically Rambo gore

the sniper rifles are already underpowered unless you're using stopping power, I used to use cold blooded pro as a sniper perk but its so annoying getting hitmarkers on people constantly, apparently a 3 UMP bullets across the map on Wasteland are more powerful than a single 50cal shot from a Barret to the chest :rolleyes:

Yeah this freaks me out I've been playing hardcore for my last prestige trying to get the wa2000/ebr challanges done,their like peashooters in "normal" modes.:mad:

When people say noobtubes, do they mean grenade launcher? You can't take the grenade launcher away from an assault rifle. Completely unrealistic. I don't see the problem with using what ever weapon you have to get kills.

but they're not, the host has the advantage over everyone so stopping power is needed to make up for the crappy connections, if the pumped for dedicated servers everyone would be on an even playing field which would be amazing, stopping power isnt in BlOps its been confirmed by Treyarch themselves.

So remember that next time you watch a video of a player on a hosts connection . Nearly every player you watch on youtube is hosting

With it removed were moving towards a more realistic tactical warfare. SMGs & shotguns. will be superior in close quarters. Assault rifles will be medium range and Snipers in long range (thank god). Now there will be a role you have to play with in order to be successful with certain weapons. Instead of the idiotic idea of making sniper rifles effective at close range.

I couldnt give a **** about any of that tbh ........as far as I'm concerned
it doesnt matter what weapon I have/you have if you are the host and I have a two/three bar connection and we start shooting at the same time . I will die ............fact . My mate gets to host all the time when hes on . So when hes on I too will get a four bar , the speed at which people drop is ridiculous . I'd even notice when I actually should have died if I was playing on my normal connection . When you are used to playing with an average connection you really notice the difference .....its actually a completely different game , like youre a super juggernaut . This is why when I watch youtube vids hearing how the player destroyed such and such , I find it very irritating . You havnt "pwned" anyone , more often than not , youre not a better player you just have a better connection

You lot all need to get better connections I think thats the biggest problem with boards guys, half your connections are ****ing horrible, its not activisions fault that the telecom infrastructure in this country(Well.. anywhere but the north and select parts of the south) are a joke. I really don't have any lag issues in this game unless the host is ****ty, if the host is decent im usually on 4 bar and with that the host hasnt really got that much of an advantage over me imo. Im guessing for some of the guys in the clan its like the old days of playing on a 56k modem.

Looks like we'll see very few games with dedicated servers for consoles in the future, im guessing that connection speeds will be so good in 4 or 5 years that there will be no need for them... bless you BT ! Jokes.

P.S. People have been using the old, "ARRRRGGG LAG" excuse for a long time

tbh ive never had much of a problem with connection issues. occasional bitta lag but nothing bad. im delighted stopping power is gone.

Any Irish gamers on anything other than UPC or Magnet are gona have a slow conn and will not let be able host on COD. I played on eircom for 2 years on COD, so frustrating, now Im with UPC 30 MEG low ping, and I realise Im actually quite good at the game:D Its amazing when I host!!

I am with neither upc or magnet , and my ping is a lot lower . My connection is solid simply because its contention free.
This is Ireland and unfortunately upc /magnet is not available everywhere, nor will it be in the future. Eircoms ngb does look good though.

Genuinely massively problematic. It's very 50/50 whether I get a good connection or not on MW2.

I envy anyone with a good connection. You yourself as you said get a 3 bar at least connection, noticed this myself. On a good day it's a most a 3 bar. Very rarely do I host if ever and thank god for the same of my team I don't.

I can travel 5 mins up or down the road and get a far improved connection. I couldn't get broadband in this small area till 2007! Funny(or depressing for myself) thing is I love 5-10 minutes from Dublin.

The last night(Friday, maybe Thursday) I played with you it was beyond a joke how bad it was. Probably half the reason I couldn't get into MW2 was this reason. COD4 I could manage, not sure if dedicated servers were used though.

I've said a good few times now but big ups to Lee for sticking with MW2. He should be way up the leaderboards, crappy stats and all that.

Yeah no doubt, i wouldn't play an fps with connections like that. My point was, having a good connection in no way will make you a good player and hosting does not = win. Most of the time its a level enough playing field, the host advantage seems huge for you guys because well... your connections are insanely bad. Only a very small amount of people have connections as bad as yours (Most of which, that we play with and against, come from Ireland). Saying someone is only owning because they have a good connection (Especially if they're from the states) is silly, they might kill you because your connection is bad, but there is more than one player on a team.

Saying that, i really wish they had the option of dedicated servers, they can host ALOT more players. Does halo use them ?

Who are you trying to cod pal lol ? I play most nights on a 3 bar ....if I don't get a 3 bar I leave the game and go into one where I do have one . I don't see any point in playing the game without a 3 bar tbh . When I do get a four bar the difference is MASSIVE . If your **** at the game it will make no difference ........if you can aim a gun it does make a difference .

Firstly, im not your pal. Secondly, i never said it makes "Shag all difference". Thirdly, 9/10.... pull that one out of your arse too ?

I dont notice a "MASSIVE" difference in my performance when i host (normal games, i lag like **** in gw if hosting) and with a normal 3 bar...and i wouldn't say im **** at the game. Maybe i dont rely on it as much as you tho.

If you honestly think that an average player thats hosting, 9/10 will have by far the best score then you need to take your head out your arse and stop looking for excuses as to why your not topping the scoreboards. I understand why ade may get a bad score with his connection, but on a 3 bar... im pretty sure he would **** most average players a new hole if they were hosting...
