It's funny, I do sometimes get picked as host (maybe 1 in 15 games?). When I do I usually say to the party "Sorry in advance lads, I'm the host, and.. I'm leaving!"
The odd time I don't notice I'm host, all I can hear people saying is "aaahhhh lagggg" .. "jesus I'm skipping so much", then I log out and it has to search for a new host
Really though, the biggest improvement they could've made for BO for me anyways was dedicated servers. Even playing field > even guns.0 -

Firstly, im not your pal. Secondly, i never said it makes "Shag all difference". Thirdly, 9/10.... pull that one out of your arse too ?
I dont notice a "MASSIVE" difference in my performance when i host (normal games, i lag like **** in gw if hosting) and with a normal 3 bar...and i wouldn't say im **** at the game. Maybe i dont rely on it as much as you tho.
If you honestly think that an average player thats hosting, 9/10 will have by far the best score then you need to take your head out your arse and stop looking for excuses as to why your not topping the scoreboards. I understand why ade may get a bad score with his connection, but on a 3 bar... im pretty sure he would **** most average players a new hole if they were hosting...

Don't worry about my scoring , I do just fine on all the cod's
But the fact remainds hosting/playing on a 4bar does make a difference - a difference of a couple of bullets due to lag......unfortunatly in mw2 thats all it takes to get a kill , ergo its a MASSIVE difference .
Go onto youtube and see how many lads are posting vids on a ropey connection ?? Then check how many are "pwning n00bs" :rolleyes: on a host/4bar connection . Its a simple ****ing fact that hosting/playing on a 4bar makes a difference , to say most of the time it doesnt is moronic tbf . Thats why so many pc players didnt buy mw2 .......and why EVERYONE wants dedicated servers . It obvious to me the way youre replying that you play most games on a 4bar and you think youre the mutts nutts .....shame really lol

The stats in my sig are never usually that bad. Most of the time it's around 1.5mb/s down and 0.5mb/s up, with around 80ms ping. I just lol'd at the 1698ms ping it threw up this morning.
Surely dedi servers would help, in that I'm not at as much of a disadvantage against the host on the other team.0 -

I'd say 95% of people have a good connection, the other 5% live in Ireland
