I'll put my hand up and admit.

I did start getting a few doubts - even me, end of last year. But that win in indonesia - was a turning point - he got a lot of Birds that week.

Felt it would be an Open he could do something.

But - I'll be honest - this was a crazy tournament - Open like in a way.

The only thing I am disapointed is , he just had to hold tight at -6 , the other lads were showing signs of a blow up. In a way , he looked at times the most inexperienced and then experienced player in field.

It was all crazy - I need actual time to reflect on this one. Few pints tonight will help.

    Over the moon -

He's been spending less and less time on the range the past couple of weeks. lets hope he continues this trend and saves all his good golf for the course! :D

Imagine how he is feeling right now if this is how we are feeling... knowing he is going to play in Augusta next month after the last few years he has had...thrilled for the man.

In ways this seems like a bigger achievement than his PGA win.

    In ways.

Only bad news for Paddy today - is this will not be up in GOLFNET.

Sure man for Barton Shiled next year. Stackstown.

At times last year that wasn't outrageous.

What a brilliant performance. I made it home for the putt on the 72nd to get into the playoff. Delighted for Harrington. An absolutely brilliant day.

The man who gave Paddy an invite ?

Freedom of Dublin on the way.

Who would that have been ?

I'm amazed, and delighted for him too.

Thought he was all washed up tbh.
