Another discussion about religion on Ray Darcy, and some fool texted in saying “We are a Catholic country”. I have heard this a lot recently and it drives me INSANE. We are not a Catholic country, we are a REPUBLIC. A country doesn’t have a religion anyway, but we are a REPUBLIC!!!!!! :mad: :mad: :mad:

No idea. Surely you would know with your routine hollering outside the church?

The Literary and Historical Society (or L&H), in UCD are holding a debate on the Catholic Church this Wednesday (the 7th of October), it's on at 7 in the Arts Block. Come along if you're interested, as all of you here seem to be. We've got guests such as the editor of Alive! and loads of others! There'll be time at the end where the debate is opened up to the floor so almost everyone will get to have their say. Oh and it's free!
