it wont leave me select any recently played game.

Played 2 games and they didnt register .

I'm half tempted to buy another ps3 just to see if it is mine thats wonky.

Other games working dandy for you?

tried playing for a wee bit last nite but connections issues scared me away!!
Played campaign instead and finished it..

I usually play it on vertern but there are certain parts that are just infuriatingly impossible to get past and had to drop down to hardened.. :(

Playing wager matches last nite with no issues!! apart from my rage of trying to get off the first gun in "gun game"

Any chance its a hard drive issue? The freezing on mine reduced when i did the following:

You could try the rebuild database option in the ps3 recovery menu. bit of a longshot though

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,692 ✭✭✭GEasy

So you rebuilt the database iMuse?

Yeah I read somewhere that it reduces the freezing a little so tried it out and it seemed to help a bit, worth a shot anyway. it only took like 10 seconds

I've the slim aswel and mine does freeze every now and then..

Have to get up off my fat ass to reset the dam console!! Frustrating!!

I'd like to think it aint my PS3 coz I've only had it less than a year..

Seems strange it would only happen with BLops and not other games!

its just a myth. t6he reason it started to work a little better is they released a 'Hotfix'

As posted by JD2020 on www.callofduty.com

    Hey PS3 community –

We are aware that many online players have been experiencing connectivity issues since Tuesday’s patch. We have been working hard to track down the cause and fix them as quickly as we can. We’ve already updated the game with one “hot fix” since Tuesday’s release that has improved many of those connectivity problems, and we’ve got more coming, so stay tuned.

Forum feedback has been tremendously helpful. In fact, we’ve been on the forums, monitoring feedback and in a number of cases, working with community members directly, so please keep the feedback coming. In the meantime, know that we’re committed to doing everything we can to support the best online experience, and we’re working quickly to resolve this issue.

NOTE: There have been rumors suggesting that deleting your save data will improve network connectivity. Please do not delete your save data, as it will not have an effect on network connectivity. A hot fix was released at 9:30p PST last night, coinciding with the first instance of this rumor, and this hot fix is the reason many users have experienced improved connectivity.

Thank you for your continued support and feedback. As always, we will keep you updated.

    Thanks
    -JD

I was talking about before patch 1.04 as shammy has been having serious problems with freezing from the beginning.

Its nice to finally see that they recognise the ps3 community for once, only took them to be spammed like mad to recognise us.
