^ haha lots of multimedia turn up suddenly, now i'm not gonna be there wendesday or thursday to say hi.
Oh well, any first years want to ask a 2nd year anything, I'll be in the Hub on Friday with Gamessoc... making sure no one breaks Rock Band.

Nope, that's on the Tuesday and Wednesday of Week 2. This is just Week 0 :P

A few societies usually set up a few things to help out with getting new fresher's into the spirit of college. And totally not for financial gain :pac:

Just ask the bus driver to drop you off at DCU and the place he will drop you off will be quite near the Pub...just look for the shops near the intersection and ull see it ..if u have half a brain u cant miss it

Haha thanks! Im usually good with directions but i can sometimes appear to only have a quater of a brain mostly lacking in common f***ing sence! So il prob be the girl that shows up an hour late!

Finished my orientation yesterday, just have to collect my student card now. Had a lot of fun. I had play guitar and sing while playing rockband. Too many shy people!

hiiii i'm doing ccs:) loving dcu so far, the toga rave was immense...wasn't impressed with the amount of people who weren't in togas though anyways i have a question, anyone know what comedian is on tonight? i heard last year it was neil delamer dunno if that's true or not though:)

i havent seen anything about it? on the orientation scheduel thing it just says a comedian, doesn't name any names...kinda wanna know who it is to see if it'd be worth going, i'm wrecked after the past couple of nights!:/

Also, how do we find out which group we are in if out seminars are split into two groups? I got asked to do a job interview on Friday, but it will only work if I am in the later group.

Or am I misunderstanding the whole group system? Is it simply a really long seminar?

If it says group one or two on the seminar you'll be split in groups of equal numbers, they usually do this alphabetically by last name.
But you don't know what letter will be the split until they tell you, this may be by email, or not until you turn up to the class.

If one of the seminars is a problem time you can usually change to the other if theres room for you, just let the lecturer know.
