Yep and stay sharp forever, my fingers can attest to that on a cold day when I'm trying to open the blade out.

I gave myself an awful doing as a kid when I let a swiss fold with my fingers in the way of the blade!

I was much more careful with folders after that!;)

Did you ever make a knife from one of those kits?

    https://www.brisa.fi/portal/index.php?option=com_oscommerce&osMod=index&cPath=92_76

I'm strongly thinking of getting one, its that or the Ozzie Knife,as she is beautiful :D

Be carefull here mate ..... The steel will not be the greatest, 440c at best .... generally these kits are of pakistan origin and you will have real trouble with fit and finish and your skill level will be well tested.. Also I buy quite a lot of stuff from this company and the owner Denis is a friend .... the shipping charges though, can be fairly high, so unless youre buying a fair quantity of material it may not be worth the bother. That said Denis is a good guy with a very dependable service.

    Regards

And if questioned by the Authoratays, all you have to do is wrap a couple of sacks around your knees and say you're going topping beet. :D

I asked for one for my Birthday in a few weeks.

I have a cheapo imitation as is and it can be used from machete to hack through bushes, an Axe to chop a few branches off to use to drag a deer or even skinning a deer if needs be!

Well seeing as I don't have a 9mm, and it is a hunting Knife and I am a registered deer stalker I can see no problem.

Bringing it around with you in a shopping centre/work/school/college now that is a horse of a different colour altogether !

So do you make them from scratch or is that not economical?
I'm unsure if you are saying that company is ok or not??
