I divided them up into four parts, so now it should download a lot quicker. Here you go. Enjoy:D

I hope this works for you. Also if your looking for any of the singles, I have very hi res scans of all the Eddie singles from 1980 to 1992. Most of them are scanned directly from the 12inch vinyls at 300dpi.

I just noticed that if you right click on the links instead, and choose open in new tab or new window they seem to work just fine;)

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,347 ✭✭✭✭Grayditch

It's quite a decent ale, that.

I had trooper in download and thought it was lovely! I have asked baggot street wines to order it in for me and they said they would! :D

so tasty! I even have beer mats (stolen from download) and a keyring (which i bought!)

Just picked up a few bottles myself. From living in England in the 90's I remember the English liking their ale and bitters served warmer than we do so what's the optimum temperature for Trooper? Should it be chilled or what?

I usually have ales about 10 mins out of the fridge, but that's just me.

I went for the cold option in the end. While it isn't the best beer in the word I've ever drank, it is very nice and very drinkable. Not the dishwater I was fearing it was going to be!

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,144 ✭✭✭peter1892

Its a nice beer, the off-licence I bought it from had it in the fridge so I drank one bottle chilled then left the other bottle to warm up overnight and it was much nicer. I like my English ales and prefer to have them that little bit warmer, but the chilled bottle was fine as well.

Its not mind-blowing, but a decent tasting beer. Nice bottle too :)

One of the lads in work got me a couple of bottles of it from his local off-license over the weekend (couldn't find any in my area). Would bringing one to the canteen to have with lunch be frowned upon? :)

Looks like they're hitting the road gain next summer

    http://www.ironmaiden.com/first-news-for-2014.html

Leaving out whether there'll be an Irish date, do you reckon this will be more Maiden England dates, some other nostalgia tour or a tour supporting a new album?

My own preference would be that it was in support of a new album.

    Yeah, me too.

I haven't heard of them being in the studio or having any plans to enter the studio so I don't know are they planning a new album. I know they're not Metallica so it's not like it will take them 2 years to record an album once they do start so if they did start in February or so they could have the majority of an album recorded by the summer?

They are generally a band that does not take a long time between albums so a release next year would only see them four years on from the last studio release ( and they have only gone four years between studio albums once before in their entire career which is pretty good going considering their first studio album came out in 1980)

There was talk of Maiden releasing a new album for 2014. Hopefully they'll be touring in support of that. Or maybe they just be premiering a song from an upcoming album.

    Gotta love Maiden though.

If there is a new album in the pipeline I hope it turns out to be more Brave New World in spirit rather than a continuation of The Final Frontier

Basically something a little bit rockier than the proggy-esque route they have been on for some years now.

Tough one. I think they exhausted the prog route after AMOLAD and the subsequent tour. Or at least it felt like that for me. Saw them several times that year.

I hope the album opens with a classic fast track. Wickerman was the last one I feel.

Chemical Wedding and Accident of Birth should be the framework for the next Maiden album.

More Maiden England shows by the looks of things. There's hope for an Irish gig though as it does say they'll be playing places they didn't play the last time.

So does that mean no new album then? What song is the notable exception from the 90's that Rod says will be included from the set list?

    ...Fear of the Dark?

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Would assume he means Fear Of The Dark, but two songs from the 1990's were played on a regular basis during the 2013 tour.

Fear Of The Dark and Afraid To Shoot Strangers.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,357 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

Clearly means the likes of Still Life and Infinite Dreams not being involved in the setlist. Plus both songs havent been played since 88.

As for the 90s thing, Be quick or be dead please.
