Fantastic gig on Wed night, thought Halestorm were great too.

Can see Dave retiring from touring after this one and, like Nicko, just doing studio work

Sorry if this has been posted before, saw these in Tesco and bought a few for a friend that's a fan! It's from the Douro in Portugal so it should be half decent.

Maiden Live in Concert on BBC 2 now. When channel hopping came across it by accident, Aces High blasting.

I immediately went Googling to see which of them had passed away!! Maiden, beloved and all as they are, are an untypical billing for prime time slot on a Saturday night on the Beeb. Great to see though, especially to see Nicko in action as that will not be a feature of future Maiden gigs. Has Flight 666 on at 10pm too, fantastic Saturday night treat…

3 hours of Iron Maiden to celebrate 50 years of the band. Gotta love the BBC sometimes!

Megadeth as support for the entire 'Run for Your Lives' summer 26 US tour with Anthrax as well for some dates. Not too bad, about the only news that would get even close to tempting me into a US holiday these days.

The Infinite Dreams book is now on release. Haven't read the whole thing yet but if you like Maiden it's a must have, really beautifully put together

Just finished a bottle with my better half. (I had most)… it's really good, a proper blood red with a bit of sweetness (classic PORTugese) very very easy to drink. I buy a lot of wine in France and because I'm a bit clueless when I'm out of my comfort zone I use an app where you take a photo of the label and it rates it. This wine is a 3.9 which is better than most of the stuff I bring home from France.

(could be IM fans… but we liked it)

Murders in the Rouge Morgue … I'll get me coat. …. seriously though, tried the Maiden wine, not bad at all.
