I've only gotten into this recently as I had a crappy net connection up until a few weeks ago, mobile broadband and gaming dont mix,anyway, for a noob, the matchmaking system is completely unfair. My first ever multiplayer match I was in a standard team deathmatch with guys who not one of was less than level 50, needless to say I got about 3 kills in the entire game and got annihilated. I gave up playing it for a few days as just got sick of getting destroyed and it being no fun, but after starting a few games with just myself in them so I could explore the maps and find out where everything lead then it wasnt so bad, went from level 1 to 19 in a few days, still get creamed on a lot of matches but once your kills start getting into double figures every match it doesnt seem so hopeless. Still ridiculously unfair for people who havent been playing since day one though.

Its full of cheating bastards, I was curious as to what this whole boosting thing was until I saw two guys doing it on a FFA match, off in a corner of the Sub hangar level with riot shields and tactical insertions, 2 sniper shots and some abuse from their mics later and I was laughing

The gun firepower is all over the fcuking place, often I've ran straight into someone emptying a clip from an assault rifle and they pop one from a handgun into me and down I go, fcuking ridiculous

Very irritating, some nights my guns seem to do 1/2 damage other 2 times as much as normal? Same weapon with same perks and all. Stupid fcuking game set up. I actually counted this evening TEN whole m4a1 rounds with stopping power pro on pumped into a guy for him to keep coming and waste me with ONE spastic 12 round at aprox 5 meters? WTF.

tha thappens to me alot, but if you look at their killcam you'll often notice ybou didn't actually hit them at all... seems to happen mostly when my connection is acting up, could be a lag issue.

Not could be. When you see that happening, it is a lag issue. Just quit the game and jump into one with a better host.

Those dual wielding shotgun ****ers do my head in, I found a guy camping in the Favela level last night with them, surely the whole point of shotguns is to get out there and cause mayhem? not to wait patiently for someone to run near you, he got me from a good 20 feet away as well.

Witching I dont mind so much, it hard to do and you have a big disadvantage, I've tried it a few times and gotten a few knife kills but you usually get shot straight away, campers though, eugh. I do love respawning close to where I got shot by a camper and my death skull thingy is still there so I can easily find him again. Last night I found a guy with the barret rifle hiding out with a tactical insertion hidden behind a crate right by him, he shot me, i spawned not to far away, got him back, then was going to smashy his insertion but instead I stuck a claymore beside it, mwahahahaha:D

some of the levels are poorly desighned and well people tend to pull to the middle, tho that can be usefull..
way to many kill streaks
Some of the wepons sucjk again 1887 shotty and ranger shotty.
also the ak47

If i was going to see MW2 go forward Id like to see the duel weilding off that stupid thrmal scope.
and a world of war craft style expansions pack once you've done level 70 and presteage you go forward new guns to unlocked and better maps and make it more interesting...

I disagree with pretty much everything you've said apart from the screaming kids in that first paragraph. But that is nothing new in this thread.

But the reason I wanted to reply was about the last bit. I both agree and disagree. If they leave in the tactical insertion, then I'd hate to see them do something like that expansion pack style. If they remove it, then sure, it might be nice. But could you imagine the boosting that would happen if you got extra guns for higher levels, not just titles and callsigns!!! :eek:

Its kind of a relief to get into a game with guys that are level 50 and 60 then absolutely hammer them as they spent all their time boosting to get their levels up and are actually pretty sh1t at the game, its such a bitchy community as well.
I play Uncharted 2 regularly online and people have a laugh with it, theres some dicks on there like all games but the dicks to normal people ratio on MW2 is ridiculous, its either stupid kids who scream abuse at people for no reason or guys who think its an actual military operation they're playing and are roaring order in Army-speak at you. The other night a guy kept telling me "theres a tango on your 6,your 6!" now I know thats directly behind me but the guy wasnt behind me at all, he was up on a buildings roof straight ahead of me, fcuking clown.

i agree wit that probley playin wit americans they think mw2 is reall life there a bunch of clowns alri iv had plenty a games like that ppl tryin to give out orders

This game is turning to shit! Host migration is happening and failing constantly. When this game first came out, a lot of people gave out about failing host migrations but it never happened to me much so I never noticed. Tonight though it is happening and failing twice for every 10 minute round I complete! WTF? Get dedicated servers IW and stop cheaping out, P2P doesn't work!

Caught a booster on my team in tdm on derail. Overheard him tkin to his mate on the other team saying to hide in the shops at the top of the level.

So I go there and find him being killed over n over again. So throw 2 flashbangs in n get d boosting ass hole.

Also hate when none of ur teAm bothers their hole to shoot down enemy air support. So selfish. Lik I always change to my stinger ass rote away while the majority just ****in run around lik idiots getting shot at over n over again.

That pisses me off as well (the air support). I will change to my stinger class as well. Unless I'm using a class with CB already, then I just wont bother!

How does the AK47 suck ? It's one of 2 assault rifles that requires an ounce of skill. Personally, along with the FAL it's my favourite gun.

Totally right. The COD community in general is filled with mainly prepubescent, extremely angry, over-serious simpletons. What's even more shocking I find is the amount of adults be it 18 or 30 who are screaming abuse as well.

Battlefield, RainbowSix, Counter Strike etc. etc. are in the main, are no patch on MW2's childish community.

I hear Halo's communinty is pretty bad as well as well but again it ain't a patch on MW2.

Just played a game in Quarry there. The entire other team had care packages as there killstreaks and they were getting good killstreaks out of them. In the length of the match, from care-packages only, they called in an AC130, a Chopper Gunner, a Pavelow, a Hind and Harriers. How is that fair for a 3/4 kill streak?

Damn lag2nite. emptying a whole round into ppl. games cutting out due to connections lobbies closing. i got a fair bit of ****2nite. think i got3full games and this was in two hrs. disgraceful

Starting to lose it with MW2, games timing out all over the place and it's just impossible to get through a full game, nevermind a series of games.

Fantastic!!!! Another new glitch/hack. Guys modding your equip. loadout or special grenade to be extra perks. Guys running around everywhere with coldblooded and stopping power pro on at same time. Guys using the perk to get quicker killstreaks with stopping power as well. Explains all the bloody quick killstreaks in every 2nd match.And in even better news heard that activision have no plans to fix it or ban offenders until a while after the new dlc is released.

Biggest MW2 complaint - was that they nerfed Akimbo Shotguns and didn't do anything about danger close which is ridiculous. damage from danger close to claymores and air support - is OTT.

2nd complaint, is the one where the HOST leaves the game at the end, going to the dashboard, thus costing people their points.

Was on last night , and complaint no 1: came up against a team that went running around with spas's , nothing wrong with that you may think , except the range on the spas was unreal. Is it a new glitch ?
no 2: came up against another team full of 10 prestiges and they all decided to jump out of the map on favela , cheating c*nts.

Its a different game completely. Got it on launch day cause was so pissed off with mw2. Haven't played it much though as have turned into a mw2 addict that can't stop till I reach 10th Prestige( I'm fully aware how sad it is).
From what I played of it, its alright. Takes abit of getting used to as unlike mw2 , its not about the kills. Reckon if you have a good squad together that communicate well it'd be a good laugh. There's a list of people on another thread on the xbox forum
