Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He is a complete bufoon and I do apologise to all bufoons for that slur, its dumb ass radio that would not challange the brain of a child. I mistakenly hear the tit when I leave the station on from Ian Dempsey and actually nearly punch the radio when i hear Rays tripe. In short he is the vuvuzela of DJs

folks - a reminder. Criticism of presenters is fine, lazy abuse is not.

I like Ray Foley. With regards to Irish djs, he certainly is different. People can say he's a rip off of Chris Moyles or whatever but thats not relevant to me as i only listen to Irish radio and Foley along with his sidekick JP, make me laugh. They have good chemistry with Adele who comes across well. The only thing i dont like about the show is Anne Gleeson. She sounds like a teenager on coke. Annoying, loud and all a bit pointless.

anybody got a list of the songs ray used last week in his dance mix ?

He's a big ripoff of Chris Moyles he has same production comp that does hes radio jingles lol he cant do a show on he's own!!! needs a bitch jp!!! lazy radio.................. make him feel good !!! the music on the playlist very boring!!!

have to say i really enjoy listening to the show when i can, as other people have said its 'just a bit of fun for your lunchtime' if you want something more serious there are plenty of others shows to choose from.

Also have 2fm just tried to copy the format of rays show? ie. one main presenter (rick o shea) a sidekick (dunno who he is) and a female sidekick (dunno who she is either) talking about random stuff and days news??

anyways guys 'love the show!!' ;)

Oh Ray, love the show. Just a bit of fun for your lunchtime, nothing too serious. Don't tell a friend, tell everyone. Batins for ratins.

    lol rofl lmfao

    Why such a reaction?

I'm sure that there are other presenters on other stations that you don't like...why not post/start a new thread on them?

Why is it that people who don't like his show get so wound up about it, switch over!

Ray and the show clearly stand out from the rest of the radio wallpaper and provokes debate...surely a good thing for radio. A bit of variety and all that!

I have started a thread. It's called "Your least favorite radio presenter" Nikki 'the biggest mistake in the history of RTE radio' Hayes features alot.

^^^ My main gripe with anti Foley posters.

Which is why I AM a huge fan of the show. They are thee best thing on irish radio. They make me laugh and they entertain me.

Who does the mixes that are on now and for past few fridays for the last part of the show? I doubt it's Ray himself ;)

    Who is Hamish and Andy?

Hamish and Andy, hilarious Aussie Dj's who just toured Ireland and Britain in a Caravan, they called it the Caravan of Courage, they've already done the States and other parts of Oz in it and broadcast from it. Myself and the lad who are huge fans of H&A, texted in to Ray at the start of June asking had they any info on the H&A tour of Ire as they had been in contact before, it does smack of Unoriginality alright!!

And so does sitting in a studio talking crap a la Nickki Hayes, Rick O'Shea, et al.

I think its been an entertaining week's listening with the Fun Bus. At least its different from other Irish radio shows.

Who cares if someone else does it in another country

^^^^^ You, my man, are clearly on the ball.

Hey everyone, he's a good guy.

H&A = radio saints. Ray Foley = radio saint. The funbus is very good. Although, I'm annoyed at Ray for stealing the idea.

In fairness to him, he never specifically said he came up with the idea.

He said that others had done it "but sort of cheated".

I just like it because it's a good excuse to play the Venga Boys on the radio.

So what I like the Venga Boys. Big woop, wanna fight about it?!

best part of the fun bus this week was on friday when the pinata girl came to visit. I've never laughed so much, Ray actually sounded slightly scared when they were hitting it.

They were in Limerick last Monday/Tuesday. They were on the phone to KC on the night time show, live from the Kilmurry roundabout. The guards pulled them over as they had left the sidestep down at the side of the funbus :D

Don`t like the show when Marty fills in for Ray,Its just music and no craic,Ray is off alot this year i wonder will it have a knock on affect on his Listenership figures. When he`s not on it gives people the chance to tune away and check out the competition.

He is taking a lot of holidays so far this year. Surely he can't be that over worked and stressed, doing what he does...basically having the craic!

Marty seems like a nice enough fella, but sounds bland as butter, compared to the usual three in that spot

Marty Miller sucks! Worst Foley fill in since cawley.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhh Today FM ya dumb ****s, why not get KC to fill in??? (When he's not in for Dempsey(

so who else is doing anything more interesting and fresh than Ray Foley and his team in the same slot every afternoon? At least they have a laugh, and are enjoyable to listen to.

Doubtful there are many anoraks out there listening to RFS from 12-2.30 who remember Stewart Lee and Rich Herring in the nineties? I certainly don't

But in fairness they acknowledge that they are ripping off the guys they listened to on radio. Even the Fun Bus a few weeks back was a rip off of the Aussie lads.

Not the greatest show on radio by a long shot but the only one worth listening too at lunchtime. And with D'Arcy taking a more serious tone now I kinda like the stupidity of it all for a couple of hours. Just to get a break from the constant reminders of the sh*t we're in.
