Many thanks just got mine ,but will there be a catch like only one voucher per round so your partner may not be able to use his.So realy only one person is free.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,178 ✭✭✭killbillvol2

    Nice one OP.

Unfortunately, no doubt some asshole will come along and try to get 20 slots with various addresses and probably not even show on the day.

You think this voucher is only valid for one person in a group if 2 ball or 3 ball or even 4 ball?
Is it possible to have 4 friends coming up with their own voucher and play together?:rolleyes:

Well, it gives the fine print as basically the following...
    1. It's for you.
    2. you need ID on the day.
    3. pay for your own cart
    4. the voucher only works once then self-destructs
    5. book 7 days in advance
    6. play 10 feb thru 10 march
    7. any day of the week up to march 10
    8. not good with any other offer yada yada...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 766 ✭✭✭20/20

Licsky my point was what may not be written in fine print. In a 4 ball perhaps they will only allow one voucher,so friends with vouchers will have to organise three more 4 balls just to use the vouchers and from that Druids will be paid for twelve games.

"BOOOOOOOO!!! Down with this sort of thing!!!!!":D:D

All will be revealed when you ring them I guess. It's not mentioned in print anyway. They do say that there is a limited number of tee times available but no mention of only allowing one complimentary voucher per line.
I know where the question is coming from but I'm just saying what I see/don't see.
I suspect if they were to only allow one free voucher per group then:
    a. they would have said so
    b. they won't get inundated because it would then become (90x3)/4 = 67.50 which isn't anything close to free golf!

The rush begins! Excellent stuff that people are picking up the offer for one of Ireland's best parklands (and my favourite). Goes to show the power of the Boards. Would have happily joined you folks, but can't make either of those dates. Good luck

There is 1 restriction, on Sundays the earliest tee time is 11:30, as members comps are on.

The course is my favorite parkland course in the country, stunning views with challenging holes, cant wait

How about from the 10 of Feb to the 10 of March have an open comp where all those playing on this deal post their scores. Open a new thread and list your day of play and after your round post your score? It would be nice to all play as an outing but may not be convenient. Just a thought and open to any other ideas

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 606 ✭✭✭Tin_Cup

Just got mine! Super Deal it has to be said!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,712 ✭✭✭bogmanfan

I just got in on Saturday 27th at 2.00pm. Last weekend slot available apparently. Said they've got 6 people answering phones all morning.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,798 ✭✭✭Mister Sifter

Do you need to give the names of all four players at time of booking?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,938 ✭✭✭AdpRo

Got through and no weekend slots left.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 150 ✭✭mirrorball

What a deal. Perhaps the best inland in the country for free. No catch and the staff were so enthusiastic on the phone. They must be flat out all morning dealing with us freeloaders but they didn't let it show!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 150 ✭✭mirrorball

Do you need to give the names of all four players at time of booking?

Yes, and they obviously need to present their vouchers on the day too. I didn't ask if you could change the names later....might be worth asking if you get through.
