rain today has taken the zoom feature off, presumably because that many people in Britain were using it with the curent situation over there that it was slowing the site down... it says something like that on raintoday... and it makes sense as a lot of people said it was slow yesterday.

well i think u usually have to pay for it and they gave it out for free

in bray. yeah the radar looked like wicklow would get the main hit but we need to blow it up a bit north just a tad for north county dublin.

Some fairly heavy snow inland in Wexford now on the 00:45 radar.

  • Registered Users Posts: 615 ✭✭✭linguist

Hello again. Do I detect a slightly dejected feeling around here, particularly from the Dubs? What do you make of this precipcast for 0300? If this comes to pass, I reckon we're in business.

Those charts would certainly indicate precip in many areas yet its been clear here all night, bar a very light hail shower earlier

Um. If I input Kilkenny it zooms in to the South East focusing on the Travelodge Hotel Waterford.

Must just be a one off.

Now its saying 'Sorry we cannot locate your search Dublin. RainToday will only locate places and postcodes within the United Kingdom'. How come its heard of Kilkenny and not Dublin
